  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Downed by Jets

Bobrovsky turned aside 21 of 25 shots in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to Winnipeg, with the Jets' final two goals getting scored into an empty net. After shutting out the Jets back home in Florida on Saturday, Bobrovsky had less success in the road rematch, with Mark Scheifele beating him once in each period. It's the third time in six November starts that Bobrovsky has given up at least four goals, and while he has a 4-2-0 record on the month, it comes with a less impressive 3.00 GAA and .895 save percentage.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: In blue paint Tuesday

Bobrovsky will tend twine on the road against Winnipeg on Tuesday. Bobrovsky will make his 14th start of the campaign -- he's 9-3-1 with a 2.89 GAA and an .897 save percentage. The 36-year-old will attempt to win two games in a row against the Jets, as he posted a 27-save shutout against Winnipeg on Saturday. The Jets rank second in the NHL with 4.11 goals per game through 18 contests.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Posts 27-save shutout

Bobrovsky stopped 27 shots in a 5-0 shutout win over the Jets on Saturday. Bobrovsky bounced back admirably from the ugly loss he suffered against the Devils on Thursday, when he stopped just 23 of 28 shots in a 6-2 defeat. This was his first shutout of the season, and it came against arguably the hottest team in the NHL. Even including that woeful loss against New Jersey, Bobrovsky has been very good lately. He owns a 4-1-0 record with a 2.78 GAA and a .904 save percentage in five outings this month.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: First off ice Saturday

Bobrovsky was the first goaltender off the ice at the morning skate, per Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post, and is slated to get the home start versus Winnipeg on Saturday. Bobrovsky struggled in his last outing, allowing five goals on 28 shots in Thursday's loss to New Jersey. He is 8-3-1, but his 3.14 GAA and .889 save percentage are not impressive peripherals. It doesn't get any easier Saturday as the Jets lead the NHL with 74 goals through 17 games.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Foiled on special teams

Bobrovsky made 23 saves in a 6-2 loss to the Devils on Thursday. He allowed five goals. The Devils outworked the Panthers most of the night and capitalized on special teams opportunities. They put in three power-play goals and added a shortie, too. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for Bobrovsky, who is now 8-3-1 with a 3.14 GAA and .889 save percentage. His numbers this season don't leap off the page, but it's hard to quibble with his effectiveness.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: First goalie off ice Thursday

Bobrovsky is slated to patrol the home crease versus New Jersey on Thursday, Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post reports. Bobrovsky was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate, a usual indicator that he will get the start. He was first off Tuesday and did not get the start, but it seems likely that he'll be in the net Thursday. Bobrovsky has won five straight games, boosting his record to 8-2-1 with a 2.95 GAA and an .895 save percentage. The Devils are averaging 3.47 goals, good for ninth overall in the NHL.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Not starting after all

Bobrovsky won't be in the net against New Jersey on Tuesday with Spencer Knight getting the home start instead, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports. Bobrovsky was the first goalie to leave the ice, which normally signals the starter, but head coach Paul Maurice announced it would be Knight instead. The 36-year-old Bobrovsky is riding a five-game winning streak, so the decision to go with Knight was a bit of a surprise, though it will likely allow Bobrovsky to take both games against the nearly unbeatable Jets on Nov. 16 and 19.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: First goalie off Tuesday

Bobrovsky was the first goalie to leave the ice Tuesday, Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post reports, indicating he'll be between the home pipes versus the Devils. Considering the Cats last played Saturday versus the Flyers and Bobrovsky is riding a five-game winning streak, it shouldn't come as a surprise to see the veteran backstop manning the crease. During that winning stretch, the 36-year-old Russian is sporting a 2.36 GAA and .917 save percentage. Even without a back-to-back on the schedule until the end of November, Bobrovsky will likely get a rest over the Panthers' next five games, though which game should go to backup Spencer Knight would certainly be open to debate.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Hangs on for shootout win

Bobrovsky turned aside 34 shots in regulation and overtime and four of five shootout attempts in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Flyers. All of Florida's scoring in regulation came in the second period, which made for a nervous third for Bobrovsky after a Garnet Hathaway pass attempt midway through the frame deflected off Uvis Balinskis and between the netminder's legs for the tying goal. Bobrovsky didn't get rattled though, and he outdueled Samuel Ersson in the shootout. Bob has won five straight starts and has gone 8-2-1 through 11 outings on the season, but his 2.95 GAA and .895 save percentage are less impressive.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Facing Flyers

Bobrovsky will defend the home crease versus Philadelphia on Saturday, Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post reports. Bobrovsky has won his last four starts. He is 7-2-1 with a 2.97 GAA and an .891 save percentage. Spencer Knight could get a few more starts soon because the Panthers do not want to overwork the 36-year-old Bobrovsky in the regular season. Philadelphia has posted only 2.50 goals per game this campaign.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Extends winning streak

Bobrovsky stopped 16 of 18 shots in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Predators. Bobrovsky was beaten in the second and third periods, but it wasn't enough to put the victory at risk. The star goaltender has won each of his last four starts and has played a prominent role in the Panthers' ongoing six-game winning run, posting a 4-0-0 with a 2.25 GAA and a .916 save percentage in that span.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Set to start Thursday

Bobrovsky was the first goalie off Thursday, Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post reports, indicating he'll draw the start at home against the Predators. Bobrovsky has picked up wins in each of his last three starts, posting a 2.33 GAA and .921 save percentage during those outings, which all came on the road. The 36-year-old will attempt to remain hot against the Predators, who rank fourth-worst in the league with 2.38 goals per game to begin the season.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Picks up win overseas

Bobrovsky made 32 saves on 36 shots in Friday's 6-4 win over the Stars. Bobrovsky has won three consecutive games and four of his last five. The 36-year-old netminder has allowed seven goals on 89 shots during his three-game win streak. Bobrovsky has given up two goals or less in just three of his nine starts, but he's supported by a Florida club scoring 3.67 goals per game. The Russia native is up to a 6-2-1 record, .892 save percentage and 3.08 GAA across nine outings.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Patrolling crease versus Stars

Bobrovsky will be in goal against the Stars in Finland on Friday, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports. It will be Bobrovsky's ninth appearance of the season, having gone 5-2-1 with a 2.97 GAA and .892 save percentage in his previous eight outings. Over his career versus Dallas, the veteran netminder is 18-2-2 with a .924 save percentage and 2.35 GAA in 23 contests. He'll look to continue his winning ways in Friday's Global Series matchup.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Nabs fifth win

Bobrovsky made 26 saves in Monday's 5-2 win over the Sabres. Both goals came during a two-minute stretch midway through the second period as Buffalo tied the game at 2-2, but Bobrovsky shut the door the rest of the way. The veteran netminder has a 5-2-1 record to begin the season, but a couple bumpy outings have left him with a less impressive 2.97 GAA and .892 save percentage.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Starting Monday's game

Head coach Paul Maurice said Monday that Bobrovsky will start Monday's road game against Buffalo, Doug Plagens of the Panthers Radio Network reports. Bobrovsky got the night off Saturday against the Islanders but will return to action Monday. Over his last four appearances, he's posted a 2-1-1 record, 3.17 GAA and .880 save percentage.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Makes history Thursday

Bobrovsky turned aside 24 shots in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Rangers. After getting beat by Alexis Lafreniere from in close early in the first period, Bobrovsky shut down the Blueshirts for the rest of the night. In the process, he became the fastest goalie in NHL history to get to 400 career wins, doing so in his 707th contest. Coincidentally, it was Rangers legend Henrik Lundqvist who held the old record of 727 games. Bobrovsky is the 14th netminder in history to reach the 400-win milestone, and he should move up the ranks quickly this season -- Hall of Famer Tony Esposito sits in 10th with 423. Bobrovsky is 4-2-1 to begin the current campaign with a 3.11 GAA and .886 save percentage.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Between pipes versus Rangers

Bobrovsky will tend the twine on the road against the Rangers on Thursday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports. Bobrovsky has already made six starts this season, posting a 3-2-1 record while sporting a career-worst 3.47 GAA. The veteran struggled in his most recent outing, getting the hook after allowing five goals on just 16 shots (.688 save percentage). A matchup with a Rangers squad that is scoring over five goals per game probably isn't the best way for Bobrovsky to get back on track.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Set to defend home crease Tuesday

Bobrovsky is expected to start at home against Minnesota on Tuesday, according to George Richards of Florida Hockey Now. Bobrovsky is 3-1-1 with a 2.95 GAA and an .896 save percentage in five appearances this season. His next victory will be the 400th of his career -- just 13 other goaltenders have ever reached that milestone in the NHL. The Wild are in a three-way tie for 18th offensively with 3.00 goals per game.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Hangs on for OT win

Bobrovsky made 23 saves in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Golden Knights. The injury-plagued Panthers never held the lead during regulation, but Bobrovsky kept them in it until Gustav Forsling found the winner with just 17 seconds left in OT. The veteran netminder is 3-1-1 to begin the season with a 2.95 GAA and .896 save percentage, and Bob may not get a break until the defending Stanley Cup champs play back-to-back games in Finland against the Stars at the beginning of November as part of the Global Series.
