  • Golden Knights' Spencer Foo: Reassigned to AHL

Foo (lower body) was sent to AHL Henderson on Monday, per CapFriendly. Foo had been dealing with an injury during training camp but he was a long shot to make the Golden Knights' roster anyway. Now that he is healthy enough to be moved to the minors, the 28-year-old will likely spend most of the year with AHL Henderson.

  • Golden Knights' Spencer Foo: Recovering from injury

Foo (lower body) sustained an injury during the offseason and is not available at the start of the Golden Knights' training camp, Ben Gotz of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. Foo returned to North America after three years with Kunlun Red Star of the KHL. The 28-year-old winger is on a two-way contract and isn't expected to see much time at the NHL level this year. The Golden Knights didn't offer a timeline for Foo's return, but he won't be available until October at the earliest as he was ruled out for camp.

  • Golden Knights' Spencer Foo: Returning to North America

Foo signed a one-year, $750,000 contract with the Golden Knights on Thursday. Foo spent the last three years with Kunlun Red Star of the KHL. He had 76 points in 154 games across those three seasons, and he also represented China in the Olympic Games. The forward had two goals in four appearances with the Flames in 2017-18, but he's unlikely to be much more than a depth addition for the Golden Knights.

  • Flames' Spencer Foo: Brought up to big club

The Flames recalled Foo and nine other players from AHL Stockton on Wednesday. The AHL regular season came to an end Sunday and Stockton didn't make the Calder Cup playoffs, so it was just a matter of time until the Flames recalled their "black aces." Along with Foo, the Flames have promoted Ryan Lomberg, Glenn Gawdin, Tyler Parsons, Tyler Graovac, Matthew Phillips, Marcus Hogstrom, Buddy Robinson, Curtis Lazar and Rinat Valiev from their minor-league affiliate. It's unlikely that any of those players will crack Calgary's lineup this postseason, but they'll all gain some invaluable experience while practicing with the big club during its playoff run.

  • Flames' Spencer Foo: Demoted to AHL

Foo was sent down to AHL Stockton on Sunday. Foo appeared in Calgary's final four games of the season, scoring a pair of goals and logging 16 shots on goal. With the NHL squad all finished up, the 23-year-old will get some more ice time as the AHL season winds down.

  • Flames' Spencer Foo: Cut from training camp

The Flames released Foo from training camp and assigned him to AHL Stockton on Tuesday. The highly touted prospect out of Union College had hoped to secure a spot on the Opening Night roster after signing as a free agent July 1, but he'll now need to impress in the AHL before getting his shot with the Flames. Foo is definitely worth a stash in dynasty formats.
