  • Ducks' Vyacheslav Buteyets: On playoff roster

Buteyets has been recalled from ECHL Tulsa by the Ducks, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports Sunday.

Buteyets will serve as the emergency third goaltender for the Ducks behind Lukas Dostal and Ville Husso. With ECHL Tulsa, the 23-year-old Buteyets went 18-19-5 with a 3.11 GAA and a .908 save percentage on the season. He made one appearance in relief at the NHL level earlier this season, stopping 10 of 13 shots Dec. 3 against the Mammoth.

  • Ducks' Vyacheslav Buteyets: Sent down Friday

Buteyets was assigned to ECHL Tulsa on Friday.

Buteyets was called up by Anaheim at the beginning of December, but he made just one appearance during his time with the NHL club. He'll head back to the minors after Lukas Dostal (upper body) was activated off injured reserve, and Buteyets should see more consistent playing time with Tulsa.

  • Ducks' Vyacheslav Buteyets: Makes debut in relief

Buteyets stopped 10 of 13 shots in relief of Ville Husso in Wednesday's 7-0 loss to the Mammoth.

Buteyets played the third period, but he didn't perform all that well in his NHL debut. The 23-year-old is with the Ducks while Lukas Dostal (upper body) and Petr Mrazek (lower body) are out, but it'll likely be Husso getting the bulk of the playing time. Buteyets may still get a start at some point if both of the Ducks' regular goalies are out for a long enough stretch of time.

  • Ducks' Vyacheslav Buteyets: Called up by Anaheim

Buteyets was recalled from AHL San Diego on Monday, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Buteyets hasn't yet made his NHL debut, but he'll provide goaltending depth for the Ducks since Lukas Dostal (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Monday, while Petr Mrazek sustained an undisclosed injury during Sunday's loss to Chicago. Buteyets has made three appearances for the Gulls this year, going 1-2-0 with a 3.72 GAA and .878 save percentage. Even if Mrazek is forced to miss time, Buteyets will likely serve as a backup to Ville Husso.
