Kings' Anton Forsberg: In goal against Jackets
Forsberg will be between the pipes on the road versus Columbus on Monday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.
Forsberg has underwhelmed of late, going 1-3-0 with a 3.57 GAA and one shutout in his last five outings. With the 33-year-old backstop getting the nod Monday, Darcy Kuemper figures to guard the cage for Tuesday's road game against the Bruins in the second leg of the Kings' back-to-back.

Kings' Trevor Moore: Adds assist in loss
Moore notched an assist, two shots on goal and two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens.
This was Moore's second game back after he missed one due to an illness. The 30-year-old winger is in a second-line role and has seen ice time in all situations since interim head coach D.J. Smith took over for Jim Hiller. Moore is up to 17 points, 94 shots on net, 35 hits, 26 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating over 49 appearances in a down year.

Kings' Brandt Clarke: Supplies two helpers in loss
Clarke logged two assists, three shots on goal, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens.
Clarke has a goal and four assists over his last three games. His 24:41 of ice time Saturday was also a season high. The blueliner set a new career high in points with 34 through just 62 outings compared to 33 in 78 regular-season contests a year ago. Clarke has grown into a larger role and looks to have the trust of interim head coach D.J. Smith, which is good news for the defenseman's rest-of-season production.

Kings' Scott Laughton: Scores in Los Angeles debut
Laughton scored a goal and added four hits in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens.
Laughton was limited to fourth-line usage in Toronto this season, but the Kings had him on the third line with ice time in all situations. If that holds, that's a huge boost to his fantasy value, making him viable in deeper formats. Laughton has nine goals, four assists, 54 shots on net, 82 hits, 28 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating across 44 appearances this season. Laughton last got steady power-play time in 2022-23 and 2023-24, which were the two best seasons of his career with 43 and 39 regular-season points, respectively.

Kings' Anze Kopitar: Extends point streak to three games
Kopitar scored a goal and took four shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens.
Kopitar snapped a prolonged 21-game goalless skid, as this was his first goal since a 4-2 win over Utah back on Dec. 8. The veteran playmaker also missed 11 games due to a lower-body injury between Jan. 7 and Jan. 29. Kopitar has had a subpar season in 2025-26. He posted 67 points in 2024-25 while playing in 81 regular-season contests, but he's been limited to just 26 points (seven goals, 19 assists) in 47 games in 2025-26. That's subpar production for a first-line center, especially one of Kopitar's stature.

Kings' Alex Laferriere: Pots goal Saturday
Laferriere scored a goal in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens.
Laferriere has been inconsistent with his scoring numbers, but he seems to be turning things around of late. The 24-year-old has scored in three of the Kings' last four games, a span in which he's tallied 17 shots and 15 hits as well. Laferriere has 29 points (16 goals, 13 assists) in 62 games this season.

Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Tagged with loss Saturday
Kuemper stopped 19 of 23 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens.
Kuemper was on pace to earn a win, but the Habs rallied back with two third-period goals to flip the script. Kuemper has been slumping of late and has lost three of his last four starts, going 1-3-0 with a 4.38 GAA and a subpar .844 save percentage in that span.

Kings' Jimmy Lombardi: Two goals in OHL win
Lombardi scored twice in OHL Flint's 4-2 win over Windsor on Saturday.
Lombardi had two goals and three assists over eight contests between multi-point efforts. The Kings prospect is up to 33 goals, 66 points, 168 shots on net and a plus-31 rating through 60 appearances this season. He's grown his offense from last year's 45-point performance in 63 regular-season outings, which is a positive sign. The 19-year-old signed his entry-level deal in December, so he's likely to play one more year of junior hockey before moving on to the AHL.

Kings' Quinton Byfield: Slated to return Saturday
Byfield (upper body) is slated to play Saturday versus Montreal, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.
Byfield missed the Kings' past two games. He has 13 goals and 33 points in 58 outings in 2025-26. Byfield is poised to serve on the second line alongside Trevor Moore and Alex Laferriere on Saturday.

Kings' Darcy Kuemper: In goal versus Montreal
Kuemper will protect the home goal versus the Canadiens on Saturday, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.
Kuemper picked up a win over the Islanders on Thursday, stopping 32 of 35 shots. He's allowed at least three goals in four of his last five contests, so he's still a risky fantasy play. The Canadiens are on the second half of a back-to-back, but they've scored 19 goals over four games since the Olympic break.

Kings' Kenny Connors: Heads to minors
Connors was reassigned to AHL Ontario on Friday.
Connors has nine goals and 29 points in 49 appearances with Ontario in 2025-26. He also has no points, five shots, three hits and one block across two outings with Los Angeles this season.

Kings' Henry Brzustewicz: Four assists in OHL blowout win
Brzustewicz registered four assists in OHL London's 10-2 win over Erie on Friday.
With the effort, Brzustewicz reached the 50-point mark on the season. He has 12 points over 11 contests in February, but he's already earned six points in three games in March. The Kings prospect now has 17 goals, 33 helpers, 212 shots on net, 55 PIM and a minus-13 rating for the Knights this season.

Kings' Joel Armia: Facing multi-week absence
General manager Ken Holland said Friday that Armia (upper body) is expected to miss 3-4 weeks, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
Armia was placed on injured reserve by the Kings on Monday after suffering an upper-body injury against the Oilers last week, and he's slated to be sidelined until at least the second half of March due to the issue. Over 53 appearances this year, he's generated 10 goals, 10 assists, 55 hits, 28 blocked shots and 24 PIM while averaging 14:20 of ice time.

Kings' Quinton Byfield: Might be available for Saturday
Byfield (upper body) might be an option for Saturday's game against Montreal, per John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio.
Byfield has 13 goals, 33 points, 30 PIM, 45 hits and 33 blocks in 58 appearances in 2025-26. He's missed the Kings' past two games because of the injury. Kenny Connors might be a healthy scratch versus the Canadiens if Byfield is available.

Kings' Andrei Kuzmenko: Done for regular season
Kuzmenko (knee) isn't expected to return before the end of the 2025-26 regular season, per John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio on Friday.
Kuzmenko underwent knee surgery last Saturday to repair a torn meniscus. He had 13 goals, 25 points and 69 shots on net across 52 appearances this campaign. If the Kings qualify for the playoffs, it's unclear when Kuzmenko will be ready to return to the lineup.

Kings' Kevin Fiala: Ruled out for playoffs
Fiala (lower leg fracture) won't be available before training camp for the 2026-27 campaign, per John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio on Friday.
Fiala was already ruled out for the rest of the regular season, but now the possibility of him returning for the playoffs has also been eliminated. He suffered the injury while playing for Switzerland during the 2026 Winter Olympics. He'll finish the 2025-26 campaign with 18 goals and 40 points in 56 outings with the Kings.
