  • Predators' Massimo Rizzo: Headed to Music City

Rizzo and Dalton Bancroft were traded to Nashville from Boston on Thursday in exchange for Narvin Mutter, per Scott McLaughlin of WEEI.

Just under a week after Rizzo returned to Boston's organization, the Bruins dealt him to the Predators' organization Thursday. The 24-year-old forward has spent most of his time in the ECHL this season, but could either join ECHL Atlanta or AHL Milwaukee, depending on necessity.

  • Predators' Dalton Bancroft: Sent to Nashville

Bancroft and Massimo Rizzo were acquired by Nashville from Boston in exchange for Navrin Mutter on Thursday, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI reports.

Bancroft had a goal and an assist with a minus-four rating and 30 PIM in his first AHL season. He will report to AHL Milwaukee.

  • Predators' Aiden Fink: Posts three points in win

Fink scored a goal and added two assists in Penn State's 6-2 win over the University of Minnesota on Wednesday.

Fink is up to 10 goals and 38 points this season, which ranks third for the Nittany Lions. The Nashville prospect had 53 points in 40 outings a year ago, but he has experienced a noticeable drop in goal scoring this season. Penn State seems likely to make the NCAA Tournament even if they fall short in the Big Ten bracket, so Fink should have at least a couple more games to add to his numbers.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Garners helper in win

Svechkov notched an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Svechkov has two helpers over three games since he was called up to fill gaps created by Nashville's trades last week. The 22-year-old is filling a bottom-six role, but he should be able to stay in the lineup regularly down the stretch. He's earned 11 points, 57 shots on net, 44 hits, 22 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating over 52 appearances, down from his 17-point effort in 52 contests as a rookie last year.

  • Predators' Brady Skjei: Posts assist Tuesday

Skjei notched an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Skjei helped out on Reid Schaefer's game-tying goal in the middle of the second period. The 31-year-old Skjei has two helpers over his last three contests, but he has gone 35 games without a goal. The blueliner is at 19 points, 91 shots on net, 63 blocked shots, 54 hits and a minus-9 rating through 64 appearances in a top-four role this season.

  • Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Provides pair of helpers

Marchessault logged two assists and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

This was Marchessault's first multi-point effort since Feb. 4 versus the Wild. The 35-year-old winger had a hand in goals by Tyson Jost and Ryan Ufko in the second period as the Predators flipped a 2-0 deficit into a 3-2 lead. Marchessault is up to 11 goals, 10 helpers, 101 shots on net, 57 hits and a minus-18 rating over 45 appearances. He is virtually guaranteed to finish below the 50-point mark for the first time since the abbreviated 2020-21 campaign.

  • Predators' Tyson Jost: Sparks comeback effort

Jost scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Jost ended a nine-game point drought with the tally, which was his first goal since Dec. 27. The 27-year-old forward is holding onto a fourth-line role for now, though he could get squeezed out of the lineup if the Predators call up additional prospects before the end of the campaign. Jost has managed nine points in 51 outings this season, matching his total from 39 regular-season contests with the Hurricanes in 2024-25. He's added 59 shots on net, 54 hits, 20 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a minus-15 rating in 2025-26.

  • Predators' Reid Schaefer: Nets equalizer Tuesday

Schaefer scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Schaefer's tally midway through the second period tied the game at 2-2. The 22-year-old has played in two of the last three contests, though he's not guaranteed to be in the lineup all of the time for the rest of the season, as he'll have to fend off Ozzy Wiesblatt for fourth-line minutes. Schaefer has earned five goals, two assists, 26 shots on net, 73 hits, 20 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating over 29 appearances with Nashville in his rookie campaign.

  • Predators' Ryan Ufko: Pots first NHL goal

Ufko scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Ufko looked like a seasoned veteran, slaloming through the Kraken's defense to tuck in his first NHL goal. The 22-year-old blueliner has two points, two shots on net and a minus-1 rating over three contests with the Predators so far. Ufko is on the third pairing and second power-play unit, so he's far from a lock to keep producing offense, though his talent is already evident.

  • Predators' Steven Stamkos: Deposits empty-netter

Stamkos scored an empty-net goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Stamkos had gone four games without a goal, though he picked up four assists (three on the power play) in that span. The 36-year-old put up a goal late in the third period to help seal the deal Tuesday. Stamkos now has 31 goals, 51 points, 155 shots on net, 72 hits, 36 PIM and a minus-17 rating over 64 appearances this season in a top-six role.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Settles in well for win

Saros gave up two goals on 45 shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Saros gave up a pair of goals in the first 10 minutes, but he settled in well after that. He had allowed at least three goals in each of his previous 13 outings, so this was a rare dominant performance for the netminder. He's up to 23-19-6 with a 3.16 GAA and an .893 save percentage over 49 starts this season. Should Saros get the start Thursday, he'd draw a favorable matchup against the Canucks.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Tending twine Tuesday

Saros will protect the road goal versus the Kraken on Tuesday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Saros is 1-2-1 over his last four games, allowing 12 goals on 102 shots (.882 save percentage) in that span. The 30-year-old will face a Kraken team that has won just twice in six games since the Olympic break, scoring 15 times in that span.

  • Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Picks up assist in return

O'Reilly notched an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres.

O'Reilly missed one game after dealing with an injury to his face near his eye. The 35-year-old returned to a top-line role and led Nashville forwards with 21:20 of ice time, so he appears fine going forward. For the season, the veteran center has 60 points, reaching that mark for the second time in three years with the Predators. He's added 122 shots on net, 47 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating across 62 appearances. O'Reilly has never had an 80-point campaign, but he could challenge that mark over the last quarter of the season.

  • Predators' Matthew Wood: Finds twine on power play

Wood scored a power-play goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres.

Wood stayed at center and won six of his 11 faceoffs in Saturday's contest even with Ryan O'Reilly (face) back in action. The 21-year-old Wood has three goals over his last two games, including one while shorthanded in addition to his power-play tally Saturday. He still isn't being trusted with a full top-six workload, but Wood has been making the most of his opportunities on special teams. For the season, he has 22 points (eight on the power play), 79 shots on net, 38 hits and a minus-2 rating over 52 appearances.

  • Predators' Zachary L'Heureux: Pots first goal of season

L'Heureux scored his first goal of the season in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres.

After going without a point in his first five games since being recalled from AHL Milwaukee after the Olympic break, L'Heureux opened the scoring Saturday by snapping a shot past Alex Lyon from the slot early in the second period. The 2021 first-round pick has plenty of skill, producing 14 goals and 28 points in 28 games for Milwaukee this season, but the 22-year-old L'Heureux hasn't been given much of a chance to show it in the NHL yet.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Can't bail out defense Saturday

Saros turned aside 21 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Buffalo.

Two of the Sabres' goals came as a result of Predator turnovers in their own end, including Josh Doan's game-winner just 16 seconds into the third period. Saros hasn't allowed fewer than three goals in an outing since Jan. 10, a stretch in which he's managed a 5-4-3 record despite a 3.89 GAA and .877 save percentage.
