Rangers' Vincent Iorio: Seeing little playing time
Iorio has played in just six of 20 games since the Rangers claimed him off waivers from the Sharks in late January. He was a healthy scratch Tuesday versus the Devils.
Iorio's playing time looked to be picking up after the Olympic break, but the Rangers have a healthy Adam Fox and are also giving a long look to Drew Fortescue for now. That leaves Iorio as the odd man out. In 27 total appearances between the Rangers and the Sharks, Iorio has three assists, 15 shots on net, 15 hits, 39 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-4 rating. It's unclear if he'll be anything more than a part-time option late in the campaign.

Rangers' Jaroslav Chmelar: Finds twine in win
Chmelar scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Devils.
Chmelar was limited to one assist over eight outings since his previous goal. The 22-year-old is getting an extended look in the bottom six as the Rangers evaluate some younger players' NHL readiness. Through 21 contests this season, Chmelar has four points, 17 shots on net, 36 hits and a minus-3 rating. He should be in contention for a bottom-six role for 2026-27 after playing primarily on the fourth line during this stretch of NHL action in March.

Sheary has found a groove late in the season. He has five goals and two assists over his last 12 outings, as well as a plus-8 rating. That's nearly half of his 16 points through 55 appearances on the year. The veteran winger has added 71 shots on net, 33 blocked shots, 20 hits and a plus-4 rating. Playing alongside J.T. Miller in recent contests elevates Sheary's potential, though he's still just a deep-league option in fantasy.

Miller scored a power-play goal and added two PIM in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Devils.
Miller has two goals and four assists during a four-game point streak. The 33-year-old's tally in the first period Tuesday stood as the game-winner. Miller is up to 16 goals, 47 points (15 on the power play), 130 shots on net, 118 hits, 26 PIM and a minus-26 rating through 61 outings this season. Miller has worked fairly well alongside Tye Kartye and Conor Sheary lately while playing in a middle-six capacity.

Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Reaches 70-point plateau
Zibanejad scored his 33rd goal of the season in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Devils.
The veteran center wrapped up the scoring on the night by tapping home a slick feed from Gabe Perreault early in the third period. Zibanejad put together a productive March, piling up nine goals and 17 points in the last 15 games, and Tuesday's tally was his 70th point of the season -- the sixth time in his career he's reached that mark.

Rangers' Adam Fox: Two helpers in Tuesday's win
Fox notched two assists, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Devils.
The star blueliner had a hand in the first-period tally by J.T. Miller, which proved to be the game-winner, as well as a third-period strike by Mika Zibanejad. Fox has gotten onto the scoresheet in four straight games and has three multi-point efforts during that span. He has amassed two goals and 15 points over the last 13 contests, including 10 points (one goal, nine assists) on the power play.

Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Sharp again in Tuesday's win
Shesterkin stopped 22 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Devils.
A Connor Brown power-play goal early in the second period spoiled Shesterkin's shutout bid. However, Shesterkin got some revenge with the win and a decisive victory over Jacob Markstrom in a goalie fight during the final frame. Shesterkin showed flickers of his peak form in March despite the struggles of the team around him, going 6-4-1 in 11 starts with a 2.75 GAA and .909 save percentage.

Shesterkin will be in goal at home against the Devils on Tuesday, per Colin Stephenson of Newsday.
Shesterkin snapped his four-game losing streak against the Panthers on Sunday, turning aside 26 of 27 shots in a 3-1 win. The Russian netminder has yet to face the Devils this season, but he's fared pretty well against them throughout his career, going 11-7-1 with a 2.80 GAA and a .911 save percentage over 21 regular-season games.

Aspinall scored twice and added an assist in OHL Flint's 10-0 win over Owen Sound in Game 3 on Monday.
Aspinall has led the charge for the Firebirds in their first-round series, racking up four goals, five assists and a plus-9 rating over three contests to put Flint on the verge of sweeping out Owen Sound. The Rangers prospect is showing that his regular-season rise to 94 points in 65 outings was no fluke. He'll look to help Flint finish off the series in Wednesday's Game 4.

Laba returned from a five-game absence due to a lower-body injury. He had five points over seven contests prior to the injury, but he was on the fourth line Sunday as the Rangers had both J.T. Miller and Mika Zibanejad at center. If Laba remains on the fourth line, his potential will be reduced. He's earned nine goals, 13 helpers, 65 shots on net, 99 hits, 42 blocked shots and 22 PIM over 66 appearances as a rookie this year.

All the game's scoring came in the third period. Fox sparked the Rangers' offense by setting up Adam Sykora for the opening tally before the star blueliner flipped home an empty-netter that traveled the entire length of the ice. Fox has gotten onto the scoresheet in 10 of the last 12 games, racking up two goals and 13 points over that stretch as he finishes a disappointing season on a high note.

Shesterkin made 26 saves on 27 shots in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Panthers.
The veteran netminder nearly came away with his second shutout of the season, but it slipped away in the final minute of the third period on a fluky play -- Mackie Samoskevich's stick broke on a shot attempt, sending the puck fluttering into the air, and Shesterkin inadvertently tipped it into his own net as he tried to swat it away. He still recorded his first win since March 14 for a Rangers team that was the first one eliminated from playoff contention in the Eastern Conference. Through 10 starts this month, he's gone 5-4-1 with a 2.92 GAA and a .906 save percentage.
