  • Hockey Club's Connor Ingram: Unlikely to return for road trip

Head coach Andre Tourigny said Thursday that he doesn't expect Ingram (upper body) to join the team during Utah's upcoming four-game road trip, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports.

Ingram was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, so he had already been ruled out through Sunday's game in Toronto. However, he'll likely be sidelined for at least four games, so the earliest that he could be in the mix to return would be at home against the Oilers on Nov. 29. Karel Vejmelka will serve as the starting goaltender for Thursday's road matchup against Boston and will likely operate as the No. 1 netminder in Ingram's absence, while Jaxson Stauber will be available as a backup.

  • Hockey Club's Karel Vejmelka: In goal Thursday

Vejmelka will get the starting nod on the road against Boston on Thursday, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports.

Vejmelka will likely be between the pipes for three of Utah's next four outings after Connor Ingram (upper body) was placed on injured reserve and won't be traveling with the team. For his part, Vejmelka is 1-4-0 despite a decent 2.58 GAA in his seven appearances this season. Look for the Czech backstop to split a back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday against the Penguins and Maple Leafs, respectively, with the recently recalled Jaxson Stauber.

  • Hockey Club's Connor Ingram: Lands on IR

Ingram (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, per the NHL media site.

Ingram will now be out for at least three games due to the injury, including a back-to-back this weekend. Karel Vejmelka will take over as Utah's No. 1 goalie, and Jaxson Stauber could be in line for his first NHL action since the 2022-23 campaign during the team's four-game road trip.

  • Hockey Club's Jaxson Stauber: Up from minors

Stauber was recalled from AHL Tucson on Wednesday.

Stauber has a 2.29 GAA and a .930 save percentage in seven AHL outings in 2024-25. Connor Ingram is in Utah to be evaluated for an upper-body injury while the team is set to play in Boston on Thursday, so Stauber should provide additional depth while Ingram is away from the team. It wouldn't be surprising if Stauber serves as the backup goaltender versus the Bruins, while Karel Vejmelka will likely get the start.

  • Hockey Club's Connor Ingram: Dealing with upper-body injury

Utah announced Wednesday that Ingram is dealing with an upper-body injury and is considered day-to-day.

Ingram started Monday's home game against the Capitals but was pulled in the second period after he allowed four goals on 13 shots en route to the loss. His injury may have contributed to his struggles and early removal from the game, and he's remained in Utah to be further evaluated while the team prepares for a four-game road trip that begins Thursday in Boston. It's unclear whether the 27-year-old will rejoin the team before the final game of the road trip, which will be in Montreal on Tuesday, but Karel Vejmelka will likely see increased playing time in Ingram's absence, while Jaxson Stauber was recalled from AHL Tucson on an emergency basis Wednesday.

  • Hockey Club's Ian Cole: Mixed results in loss

Cole notched an assist and went minus-3 in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Capitals.

Cole helped out on a Jack McBain goal in the first period. Other than that, it was a night to forget for Cole amid some defensive struggles. He has been generally solid this season -- Monday was the first time since Oct. 22 he ended a game with a minus rating. The 35-year-old blueliner has one goal, six assists, 17 shots on net, 25 PIM, 23 hits and 42 blocked shots over 18 appearances, and he's often been in a top-four role as Utah has dealt with injuries on defense.

  • Hockey Club's Kevin Stenlund: Provides helper

Stenlund logged an assist and two shots on goal in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Capitals.

Stenlund ended his six-game slump when he set up Jack McBain's first-period tally. The 28-year-old Stenlund has been a fixture on Utah's fourth line this season. The steady playing time is a positive, but his role doesn't lead to a lot of offense. The veteran center has three points, 23 shots on net, 18 hits, 12 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating over 18 appearances.

  • Hockey Club's Jack McBain: Scores, fights in loss

McBain scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and logged seven PIM in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Capitals.

McBain drew the Capitals' ire in many ways Monday. He scored just 3:05 into the game, but he was also responsible for forcing Alex Ovechkin (lower leg) out of the game after the two collided in the third period. McBain later had to answer to Tom Wilson in a fight for that hit. It's been a productive few weeks for McBain, who has three goals and two assists over his last eight contests. He's managed five goals, three helpers, 14 shots on net, 33 PIM, 49 hits and a plus-3 rating through 18 outings overall.

  • Hockey Club's Karel Vejmelka: Gives up two goals in relief

Vejmelka stopped nine of 11 shots in relief during Monday's 6-2 loss to the Capitals.

Vejmelka replaced Connor Ingram midway through the second period, and he was beaten twice over a 2:26 period in the final frame. Vejmelka had a career-best performance in the 4-1 win over the Hurricanes on Nov. 13, stopping 49 of 50 shots, but he's allowed five goals on 39 shots in his two outings since then.

  • Hockey Club's Connor Ingram: Gets hook Monday

Ingram stopped nine of 13 shots before being pulled in the second period during Monday's 6-2 loss to the Capitals.

Ingram was returning to the Utah crease after two games and had a woeful performance. He was lifted in the second period in place of Karel Vejmelka, who ended up allowing two more goals in the final frame. Ingram has posted a save percentage below .890 in each of his last four outings, so he's clearly trending in the wrong direction. Over that span, Ingram has gone 1-2-1 with a 3.80 GAA and an .843 save percentage after stopping just 70 of 83 shots.

  • Hockey Club's Nick Bjugstad: Scores in loss to Caps

Bjugstad scored a goal, took two shots and recorded two hits in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Capitals.

Bjugstad notched his third goal of the season, but by the time he found the back of the net, Utah was already losing 4-2 midway through the second period. It's worth noting that all three of Bjugstad's goals have come in his last three appearances.

  • Hockey Club's Connor Ingram: Set to start Monday

Ingram will patrol the home crease Monday against Washington, according to Cole Bagley of KSL Sports.

During his last outing, Ingram stopped 17 of 20 shots in a 4-0 loss to Nashville on Nov. 9. He has a 6-3-3 record with a 3.40 GAA and an .879 save percentage across 12 appearances this campaign. Washington is coming off a 5-2 win over Vegas on Sunday and ranks first in the league with 4.24 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Hockey Club's Matias Maccelli: Records helper Friday

Maccelli logged an assist in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

Maccelli has a goal and two helpers over his last four contests. He started the year in the bottom six but has earned a second-line role more recently, and it appears to be helping his offense. The winger is up to nine points, 24 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating over 17 outings. Maccelli doesn't offer a lot of category coverage in fantasy, but he's decent as a depth scorer with power-play time.

  • Hockey Club's Dylan Guenther: Nabs assist

Guenther logged an assist and three shots on goal in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

Guenther looks to be warming up again with a goal and three assists over his last four games. The 21-year-old winger remains in a steady second-line role, and his offense has rounded out a bit after being goal-heavy early in the season. He's up to seven tallies, 14 points, 42 shots on net, 12 PIM and a plus-5 rating through 17 appearances.

  • Hockey Club's Alex Kerfoot: Offers power-play helper

Kerfoot provided a power-play assist in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

Kerfoot ended a four-game slump with the helper. The 30-year-old forward has seen middle-six minutes for most of the season, and he's been on the power play in the last four games. He's produced five points, 28 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through 17 contests overall.

  • Hockey Club's Mikhail Sergachev: Nets fourth goal of season

Sergachev scored a power-play goal in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

Sergachev has found the back of the net in back-to-back outings for the first time this season, and this was his second power-play goal. The defenseman has been one of Utah's best players this season, compiling four goals and 12 points in 17 contests. He is tied for third on the team in points.

  • Hockey Club's Logan Cooley: Scores in loss Friday

Cooley scored a goal in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

Cooley found the back of the net for the third time this season midway through the first period to open the scoring in Friday's contest, but the Golden Knights scored four unanswered goals to secure the win. Cooley snapped a four-game goalless slump with this tally, and he's been a solid playmaker for Utah with nine assists in 17 outings. He is tied for second on the team in helpers this season.
