Summary

Nick Barrett enters the league with real value as a run defender, especially in an era of lighter boxes across the NFL. Barrett put strong run-defense tape together last fall, finishing third among SEC defensive tackles in run stops. He’s not just a splash-play run defender, either. He can hold gaps and shed late to finish. There’s just not much to get excited about yet as a pass rusher.
