Turner is now riding a six-game hitting streak over which he's collected multiple hits three times. Overall, it has been another solid year for the Philadelphia star when in the lineup, as he's hit .299 with 19 homers, 83 runs scored and 59 RBI across 113 games.

Turner jumped on a hanging sinker from Luis Severino in the top of the third and sent it into the stands in left-center field to tie the game at 2-2. It marked the shortstop's 19th home run on the campaign and his fourth in September, and he's slashing .290/.338/.507 with 10 RBI and 11 runs scored on the month. Turner has also hit safely in each of his last five games.

Turner put the Phillies ahead 4-2 with his first home run off Taj Bradley in the third inning before cranking another two-run shot off Edwin Uceta in the eighth to cap the Phillies' five-run frame. Turner had gone just 1-for-10 in his previous three games prior to Tuesday's three-hit, four-RBI performance. The shortstop is now slashing .299/.345/.474 across 467 plate appearances this season with 18 homers, 55 RBI, 78 runs scored and 15 stolen bases.

Turner was one of four Phillies with three hits in the 16-2 thrashing of the Marlins. He wasted no time making an impact early; Turner singled and scored in the first inning before drilling a two-run shot in the second. He later added an RBI double and another run scored in the fifth. Turner has gone 17-for-54 (.315) over his last 13 games, driving his season slash line up to .300/.347/.467 with 38 extra-base hits and 15 steals through 100 games.
