  Arrighetti allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out seven over 6.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Tuesday.   Arrighetti (5-11) allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks over 5.2 innings Friday, striking out five and taking a loss against the White Sox. Most of the damage against Arrighetti came off the bat of Luis Robert, who went deep twice. Arrighetti is now 1-4 over his last five starts despite a respectable 4.11 ERA and an impressive 41:8 K:BB during that stretch. He now owns a 5.20 ERA with a 134:52 K:BB through 110.2 innings this season. Arrighetti has thrown at least six innings in five of his last six outings. His next start is projected to be in Baltimore.

  Arrighetti (5-10) earned the win against the Red Sox on Saturday, allowing two runs on two hits and one walk with 13 strikeouts over seven innings. After striking out 12 batters Sunday, Arrighetti set a new career high Saturday while generating 21 swinging strikes on 92 pitches. The rookie's 5.14 ERA and 1.45 WHIP are still unsightly, but he has logged four quality starts in his past five outings with a 43:9 K:BB across 31 innings. He'll try to keep the good times rolling in a favorable matchup against the White Sox next week.
