Casas is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Anaheim, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

Southpaw Tyler Anderson is going for the Angels, so the left-handed-hitting Casas will take a seat. Justin Turner will play first base, Rob Refsnyder will be in left field and Masataka Yoshida will be the designated hitter.

France (wrist) is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Athletics.

X-rays turned up negative on France's left wrist after he was hit by a pitch late Tuesday night, but he has some residual swelling and a bruise. Consider him day-to-day. Sam Haggerty will start at first base and bat ninth for Seattle on Wednesday versus Oakland.

Diaz is not with the Rays in Tampa Bay for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays as he tends to a family matter, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The Rays aren't expected to place Diaz on the restricted list or the bereavement list, so he should be considered day-to-day heading into Thursday's series finale with Toronto. Luke Raley will draw a start at first base in place of Diaz on Wednesday.

Rizzo went 3-for-5 with a double, a run and an RBI in Tuesday's extra-inning victory against Baltimore.

Rizzo was the only player on either side with three hits in the contest, and his fifth-inning double knocked in a run. The veteran first baseman has three multi-hit performances over his past four games, batting .444 (8-for-18) with two homers and six RBI over that span. He's on pace for one of his best campaigns at the plate, slashing .310/.388/.533 with 11 long balls, 29 RBI and 30 runs through 209 plate appearances.

Arias will start in right field and bat sixth in Wednesday's game against the White Sox.

He'll stick in the lineup for a fifth consecutive game at a third different position, though right field probably represents his clearest path to playing time now that the Guardians are back to full strength following Jose Ramirez's recent return from bereavement leave. Arias is maintaining a modest .685 OPS for the season, but that's still well ahead of Will Brennan (.558), the Guardians' primary option in right field. Though he's largely served as a short-side platoon mate for Brennan since Oscar Gonzalez was optioned to the minors earlier this month, Arias will draw the start over Brennan on Wednesday with right-hander Michael Kopech on the hill for Chicago.

Mariners manager Scott Servais said after Tuesday's win over the Athletics that X-rays on France's left wrist returned negative, but the first baseman is still dealing with swelling along with a bruise, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Servais believes France is doubtful to play against the Athletics on Wednesday, and he notes the team will play it day-by-day in terms of a possible stint on the 10-day injured list. France was plunked in the wrist by a fastball from Trevor May in the bottom of the eighth inning, and while he was initially able to stay in the contest, he was eventually subbed out for Sam Haggerty. Haggerty will likely get the bulk of playing time at first base during any time France misses.

France was removed from Tuesday's game against the Athletics in the eighth inning after being hit in the wrist by a pitch, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

France was replaced by Sam Haggerty after initially staying in the contest. It's likely that France will undergo testing to determine if there's any structural damage, but the infielder should be considered day-to-day until the results of any imaging takes place.

Guerrero went 3-for-6 with a homer and six RBI in Tuesday's 20-1 victory over Tampa Bay.

Guerrero got Toronto's offensive explosion started with an RBI single in the first inning before cranking a grand slam off Luke Raley in the Jays' nine-run ninth. It's an encouraging display from Guerrero after he went 2-for-17 without driving in a run over his previous four games. Overall, the 24-year-old first baseman is slashing .300/.368/.500 with eight home runs and 33 RBI through 204 plate appearances this year.

Noda is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Mariners.

Jesus Aguilar will start at first base and bat cleanup with left-hander Marco Gonzales on the mound for Seattle. Noda has flashed decent power and great on-base skills, but he'll likely continue to sit versus most southpaws.

Diaz is absent from the Rays' lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Blue Jays.

Diaz played the last three games after returning from a groin issue, but he'll take a seat Tuesday. Luke Raley is at first base against Jose Berrios.
