Diaz pulled a ball down the third base line in the fifth inning to tally an RBI double. The knock also extended his hitting streak to nine games, during which he's hit .305 with two home runs, four RBI and seven runs scored. Diaz has had a great start to the season, highlighted by a .262 ISO and .432 wOBA across 152 plate appearances.

Noda went 1-for-2 with a double and two walks in a loss to the Yankees on Wednesday.

Noda's busy offensive day was an extension of a season-long trend, as he now carries an elite .429 on-base percentage across 119 plate appearances. The 27-year-old's two-bagger was also his 12th extra-base hit among 22 total knocks, which has helped him to an .885 OPS despite a middling .244 average.

Pasquantino went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in Wednesday's 9-1 win over the White Sox.

Pasquantino has gone 7-for-14 with three extra-base hits over his last three games and now has five multi-hit efforts in his last 10 contests. The 25-year-old is up to a .298/.383/.539 slash line with seven home runs, 19 RBI, 20 runs scored and 13 doubles in 38 games this season. While most of his profile resembles what he did in 72 contests as a rookie last year, he's added 89 points to his slugging percentage, showing a notable increase in power.

Pratto went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, three RBI and a pair of runs scored in Wednesday's 9-1 win over the White Sox.

Pratto singled home a run to kick his day off and then swatted a two-run blast to right in the fourth to extend the Royals' lead to 7-1. Both his hits exceeded 100 mph in exit velocity, and he's been locked in since being called back up April 28, slashing .400/.478/.625 with two homers, 12 RBI, nine runs and a 4:13 BB:K over 46 plate appearances.

Casas went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Wednesday's 5-2 win over Atlanta.

Casas provided the last scoring play of the game with a ninth-inning homer to bolster Boston's lead. The first baseman has homered twice in his last three contests, and he's also drawn three walks in that span. For the season, he still has a poor .167/.311/.354 slash line with five long balls, 14 RBI, 18 runs scored, no stolen bases and three doubles over 32 games.

Abreu is not in the starting lineup Wednesday against the Angels, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Abreu has struggled mightily in the month of May thus far with his 0-for-4 effort against the Angels on Tuesday seeing his slash for the month fall to .148/.258/.222 over 27 at-bats. Yainer Diaz will get the start at first base and hit seventh.

Torkelson went 3-for-4 with a double in Tuesday's loss against the Guardians.

Torkelson has now hit safely in five straight games, going 9-for-22 with three doubles and a homer in that span. After a disappointing rookie campaign and a slow start to the 2023 season, Torkelson is starting to hint at the potential that made him the first overall pick in the 2020 Draft. He's boosted his slash line to .240/.294/.372 with three home runs, 12 runs scored and 16 RBI through 143 plate appearances this year.

Naylor will sit Wednesday versus the Tigers.

Naylor will head to the bench as the Guardians face off with left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound. Josh Bell will start at first base while righty bat David Fry enters the lineup at third base, batting fifth in the series finale with Detroit.

France went 2-for-4 with a two-run single and a run in a win over the Rangers on Tuesday.

France's timely third-inning knock plated Tom Murphy and Sam Haggerty with the first two runs of the night while extending his hitting streak to seven games. The surging first baseman has given his slash line a much-needed boost to .271/.359/.391 over that sample, which includes three multi-hit efforts in the last four games.

Pasquantino went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the White Sox.

Pasquantino drilled a slider 430 feet in the first inning to open the scoring and then singled home Bobby Witt in the sixth inning to get Kansas City within a run. However, that was all the scoring the Royals could muster. Pasquantino hit 10 homers in 258 at-bats last season, but already has seven in 136 at-bats in 2023 on the way to an outstanding .905 OPS.
