France went 4-for-4 with three doubles, four runs scored and an RBI in Wednesday's win over the Rockies.

The Blue Jays wrapped up a record-setting series with a 20-1 rout, and France was right in the thick of the fireworks. The 31-year-old has three multi-hit performances in 14 games since the All-Star break, with the first two coming as a member of the Twins, and France is slashing .311/.415/.444 over that stretch with six doubles, three RBI and nine runs. Based on his usage since being traded to the Blue Jays, his main role over the final weeks of the season will be to handle first base against left-handed pitchers while Vladimir Guerrero slides over to designated hitter.

Naylor went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and two stolen bases in an 8-6 win against the White Sox on Wednesday.

Naylor set the tone for a big offensive performance by Seattle with a 450-foot, two-run wallop to right field in the first inning. His other hit was a seventh-inning single that he followed with swipes of both second and third base. Naylor's final stat line was nearly a mirror image of what he posted the previous day in the series opener, when he also went 2-for-3 with a two-run blast and two thefts. His work on the basepaths has been especially impressive of late; over his past 11 contests, Naylor has gone 10-for-10 in stolen-base attempts. He's already more than doubled his previous career-high mark with 21 steals on the campaign.

Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Royals.

That's now three straight multi-hit games and five such efforts in his last seven outings for Gonzalez, who's slashing a robust .313/.346/.612 with 25 extra-base hits and 34 RBI over his last 159 plate appearances since the start of May. The 28-year-old infielder drew the start versus right-hander Michael Wacha on Wednesday, so it's possible his hot hitting is earning him more playing time against righties. Even so, Gonzalez still has a 1.072 OPS versus southpaws as opposed to a .737 OPS against righties in 2025.

Walker went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 6-4 loss to Miami.

The 34-year-old first baseman swatted his 16th long ball of the year, and he continues to dig his way out of the early season slump that saw him post a .635 OPS through June 29. Over 124 plate appearances (28 games) since the beginning of July, Walker is slashing .306/.363/.514 with six big flies, five doubles and 24 RBI, bringing his OPS for the campaign up to .700.

Torkelson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 9-4 loss to the Twins.

Torkelson extended his hitting streak to four games, with three of those going down as multi-hit efforts. The slugger also popped his first home run since July 25, giving him 24 long balls for the season. Riley Greene still leads the Tigers with 26 home runs, but he's been scuffling after the All-Star break, so a power surge could allow Torkelson to pass his teammate in the near future.

Mayo went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Phillies.

Mayo gave the Orioles a 4-0 lead in the fourth inning, launching a 421-foot blast off Ranger Suarez. The 23-year-old corner infielder is getting his first taste of major-league success, posting an .872 OPS with three homers and eight RBI over 15 games since the All-Star break. For the year, he's slashing .221/.296/.377 with four home runs, 17 RBI, 14 runs scored and a stolen base across 135 plate appearances.

Toro is out of the lineup for Wednesday's tilt versus the Royals.

Toro had started each of the last 11 contests but will begin Wednesday's contest on the bench. Romy Gonzalez will cover first base and bat fifth for the Red Sox.

Tellez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees.

The left-handed-hitting Tellez will retreat to the bench for the second time in the series while the Rangers face another left-handed starter (Carlos Rodon). Tellez had started at first base in each of Texas' previous five matchups against right-handers, but he could see his opportunities to play versus opposite-handed pitching dwindle once Josh Jung is ready to play third base after a recent bout with a calf injury. Josh Smith will cover third base Wednesday while Jung serves as a designated hitter for his second start in a row, but Smith is likely to eventually move back across the diamond.

Goldschmidt is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Goldschmidt will get a breather after he went 3-for-8 with a solo home run, a double and three runs while picking up starts in the first two games of the series. Since the All-Star break, Goldschmidt is slashing just .224/.269/.347, and his struggles against right-handing pitching in particular throughout the season (66 wRC+ over 301 plate appearances) could eventually put him in danger of fading into a quasi-platoon with the left-handed-hitting Ben Rice, who will cover first base and bat second Wednesday.

Kurtz went 3-for-4 with a double, two walks and four runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Nationals.

In a game in which the Athletics scored 16 runs, Kurtz was unable to drive anyone in despite a productive night at the dish. He did touch home plate four times, however. At just 22 years old, Kurtz has adapted to big-league pitching remarkably well and is hitting .486/.560/1.000 with eight homers, 21 RBI, 24 runs and two steals in 19 games since July 11.
