Calhoun isn't starting Monday's game against the Astros.

Calhoun will be out of the lineup for a second consecutive game since left-hander Framber Valdez is on the mound for Houston. Adolis Garcia will start in right field and bat second.

Diaz went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Red Sox.

Fresh off being reinstated from the COVID-19 injured list, Diaz put the finishing touches on Sunday's win with the seventh-inning long ball off lefty Jake Diekman. The home run was the first of the season for Diaz, who has produced only three extra-base hits through 51 plate appearances.

Gurriel went 2-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored Sunday against Toronto.

Gurriel was hitless through his first three at-bats, but he led off both the fifth and seventh innings with a double. He also came around to score on each occasion. Though he's hitting only .213 across 48 plate appearances on the season, Gurriel has now collected at least one hit in four of his last five games.

France went 3-for-5 with a home run, run scored, walk and two RBI in a 5-4 win Sunday over Kansas City.

France hit a two-run homer in the first inning and added two singles and a walk later in the game. The first baseman is on fire with eight hits and seven RBI in his last two games and six multi-hit games in his last eight. Not only has he hit for power and average, the 27-year-old has only eight strikeouts on the season while walking seven times.

Rizzo went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, two runs, two RBI and a strikeout in Sunday's 10-2 win over the Guardians.

Rizzo extended his hitting streak to five games during Sunday's victory, and he has four extra-base hits across that span. The 32-year-old has showcased plenty of power early in 2022, slashing .250/.382/.571 with five homers, three doubles, 12 RBI, nine runs and two stolen bases.

O'Hearn is on the bench for Sunday's game against the Mariners.

O'Hearn will bow out of the lineup after going 0-for-2 with a walk while making his first start of the season in Saturday's 13-7 loss. Even though he's been with the Royals since Opening Day, O'Hearn has been one of MLB's least-used bench players. He's seen action in only four of the Royals' first 13 games while logging seven plate appearances in total.

Calhoun is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Along with Willie Calhoun and Brad Miller, Kole is one of three lefty-hitting regulars who will take a seat with southpaw Cole Irvin on the hill for Oakland. Adolis Garcia will slide over from center field to cover right field in place of Kole.

Kirilloff (wrist) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul on Tuesday, Megan Ryan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

He's expected to serve as a designated hitter Tuesday, then play nine innings in the field in a second rehab game Wednesday before being activated from the injured list by the end of the week, if all goes well. Trevor Larnach has been serving as the Twins' primary left fielder since Kirilloff was shut down with the wrist injury earlier this month.

Santana went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, two walks and an additional run in a 13-7 loss to the Mariners on Saturday.

Santana walked in the first and fifth innings, scoring following the latter, and launched a two-run homer during a seventh-inning rally to tie the game. This was almost a necessary performance for Santana, who still draws walks but was just 2-for-32 on the season prior to Saturday's game. He'll need to string together a few more quality performances before he can be seen as an a potential option.

Dalbec went 1-for-4 with an RBI-triple and scored a run in Saturday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the Rays.

A nine-inning pitchers' duel, which included nine no-hit innings by Tampa Bay pitching, turned wild in the 10th. Dalbec delivered the game's first run and scored on a sacrifice fly in the top of the 10th inning, but the Rays came back in the bottom half of the frame. Dalbec's slow start is like his 2021 season; he's 8-for-48 (.167) with one home run, two RBI and a .523 OPS through 13 games.
