Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Athletics' Matt Olson: Swats 20th home run
Olson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a strikeout in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Athletics.
Olson has reached base in each of the last 19 games, and he's had multi-hit efforts in three of his last four appearances. Across the last four contests, he's gone 9-for-18 with two home runs, five RBI, three runs and a stolen base.

Chris Gittens 1B | HOU
Yankees' Chris Gittens: Returns to minors
Gittens was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after Sunday's win over Oakland.
Gittens has been in the majors the past couple weeks but will return to Triple-A with Luke Voit (oblique) expected to return from the injured list Tuesday. Gittens appeared in nine games and went 2-for-19 with a homer and four RBI during his first taste of big-league action.

Blue Jays' Rowdy Tellez: Sitting third straight game
Tellez is not in the lineup Sunday against the Orioles.
Tellez is sitting out the third straight game and is 0-for-8 in his past four appearances. Teoscar Hernandez will bat cleanup as the designated hitter in his return from the paternity list. Santiago Espinal has filled a regular spot in the lineup and could continue to do so until George Springer (quadriceps) is activated.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Athletics' Matt Olson: Delivers three hits in loss
Olson went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a stolen base Saturday in the Athletics' 7-5 loss to the Yankees.
Thanks to his second three-hit game in four days, Olson's average is up to .301 for the season. He's well on his way to sailing past his previous career-best mark in the category (.267), and most impressively Olson hasn't had to sacrifice any power to maintain the lofty average. His 19 home runs on the season are good for fourth place in the majors behind Vladimir Guerrero, Fernando Tatis and Shohei Ohtani.

Yuli Gurriel DH | SD
Astros' Yuli Gurriel: Not in Sunday's lineup
Gurriel is out of the lineup Sunday against the White Sox, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Gurriel started the past 17 games after missing three contests with an inflamed finger in late May, but he'll receive the day off Sunday after hitting .339/.400/.525 with three homers, 10 RBI and 12 runs during that stretch. Taylor Jones will start at first base in his absence.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Socks three-run shot
Guerrero went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, two additional RBI and an additional run scored in Saturday's win over the Orioles.
Guerrero keeps mashing and already has seven homers on the month, though he's been supplying value outside of the power department since he's also hit safely in all but one of his last 10 games. The slugger is hitting .381 with a 1.252 OPS in 17 games this month.

Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Blasts three homers in loss
Mountcastle went 4-for-4 with three home runs and four RBI in Saturday's 10-7 loss to the Blue Jays.
Mountcastle and the rest of the Orioles lineup combined for six home runs -- the most for Baltimore in a single game since August 2016 -- but it wasn't enough for the team to keep pace with the Blue Jays, who plated six runs in the ninth to steal the win. Though the 23-47 Orioles already find themselves out of playoff contention well before the All-Star break, Mountcastle has been a silver lining in an otherwise bleak season. After going 10-for-17 at the dish over his last four games, Mountcastle has lifted his season-long slash line to .266/.292/.477 across 250 plate appearances.

Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL
White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Cranks sixth home run
Vaughn went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Astros.
Vaughn proved that his face contusion wasn't an issue after reaching base three times Saturday, including a solo home run off Framber Valdez in the seventh inning. The rookie hasn't been a very consistent hitter this season, as he's batting .236, but his role has increased due to multiple injuries to teammates. He will likely get better with experience as he has shown the ability to get on base multiple times in three of his last five games.

Bobby Dalbec 1B | CHW
Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Belts ninth homer
Dalbec went 3-for-3 with a triple, a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Saturday's 7-1 win over the Royals.
The 25-year-old slugger capped his big day by taking Jackson Kowar deep in the ninth inning for a two-run shot. Dalbec has nine homers on the year, and four of them have come in his last 12 games.

Luke Voit 1B | NYM
Yankees' Luke Voit: Goes deep in rehab appearance
Voit (oblique) went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBI in a minor-league rehab game with Double-A Somerset on Friday.
Voit's production at the plate Friday was the surest sign yet that he's ready to return to the big club. He mashed a two-run double in the second inning and a solo homer in the sixth. Barring any setbacks, Voit is expected to rejoin the Yankees for Tuesday's game against the Royals.
