  • Matt Olson 1B | ATL

Athletics' Matt Olson: Pops 12th homer

Olson went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Astros.

Jose Urquidy kept Oakland's offense quiet through five innings, but Olson was able to take the right-hander deep for a two-run shot to give the A's a 2-1 lead in the sixth. It marked the first baseman's 12th long ball on the campaign. Despite hitting just .194 so far, Olson has been able to reach base at a .320 clip while providing plenty of power in the middle of the Athletics' lineup.

  • Bobby Dalbec 1B | CHW

Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Continues power surge

Dalbec went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Thursday against the Rays.

Dalbec took Josh Fleming deep in the fifth inning for his sixth home run of the season. He's now homered in five consecutive starts, with the only downside being four have been solo shots. Dalbec has struck out in an alarming 49 percent of his 39 plate appearances to this point, though his .750 slugging percentage is offsetting all those whiffs at the moment.

  • Luke Voit 1B | NYM

Yankees' Luke Voit: Not starting Thursday

Voit isn't in Thursday's lineup against the Orioles.

Voit will get his first day off in nearly a month after recording hits in each of the past three contests. Mike Ford will start at first base Thursday.

  • Yuli Gurriel DH | SD

Astros' Yuli Gurriel: Goes deep in loss

Gurriel went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Athletics.

Gurriel accounted for the Astros' second and final run with his long ball in the sixth inning. The 36-year-old now has six homers, 18 RBI and 26 runs scored with a .263/.307/.463 slash line through 43 games this season.

  • Luke Voit 1B | NYM

Yankees' Luke Voit: Knocks in run

Voit went 1-for-5 while scoring a run and recording an RBI in the Yankees' 7-2 victory over the Blue Jays on Wednesday night.

Voit extended his hit streak to three and could've been in line for a larger night had he not left three runners on base. Although Nelson Cruz, Mike Trout and Fernando Tatis Jr. have inched ahead on the home run leaderboard, Baseball Savant puts Voit in the top-five percentile of expected slugging, signifying that he can hang with that elite company. With advanced metrics on his side and a reliable spot in the middle of the Yankees' order, Voit remains a dependable fantasy asset.

  • Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL

Blue Jays' Rowdy Tellez: May be out for season

Tellez (knee) is expected to miss the rest of the 2020 season with a suspected tendon injury, Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun reports.

The 25-year-old suffered the injury during Tuesday's contest and landed on the injured list Wednesday with a right knee strain, but it appears he'll be sidelined for more than the 10-day minimum by the unspecified tendon injury. Tellez remains without an official timeline for his return, so it's unclear if a return during a potential playoff run is possible.

  • Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL

Blue Jays' Rowdy Tellez: Moves to injured list

Tellez was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a right knee strain.

An MRI revealed the strained right knee earlier in the day, and it was only a matter of time before the 25-year-old was shifted to the injured list. Tellez remains without an official timeline for his return, but he could be reinstated Sept. 19 for the final week of the season. Billy McKinney was recalled from the alternate training site in a corresponding move.

  • Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL

Blue Jays' Rowdy Tellez: Injured list trip expected

Tellez (knee) is expected to require a trip to the injured list after an MRI revealed a strained right knee Wednesday, Gregor Chisholm of the Toronto Star reports.

Depending on the severity of the strain, Tellez could potentially have the chance to return for the final week of the season. He'd been reaching a new level at the plate this season, hitting .283/.346/.540 in 35 games, so his loss will be a blow to the Blue Jays. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Travis Shaw will spend time at first base in his absence.

  • Evan White 1B | LAA

Mariners' Evan White: Continues hot hitting

White went 2-for-4 with a run in a loss to the Giants on Tuesday and is now hitting .353 (6-for-17) over his first five September games.

The rookie's season line sat at a ghastly .104/.164/.179 on Aug. 12, but White has subsequently slashed .296/.377/.593 with four doubles, four home runs, 15 RBI, six walks, a stolen base and nine runs over the following 17 games. The significant improvement still leaves White's season-long numbers at .190/.261/.364, but it's been key to the Mariners' unexpected surge and given White's fantasy managers some solace during what looked to be a wasted campaign at one point.

  • Ty France 1B | SD

Mariners' Ty France: Rips three-bagger in loss

France went 2-for-4 with a triple and a run in a loss to the Giants on Tuesday.

France's third-inning three-bagger was the latest impact hit for the trade-deadline acquisition since he arrived in Seattle. The 26-year-old is now hitting .353 (6-for-17) with four RBI, three walks and three runs since making his Mariners debut Sept. 4, reaching safely in all five games during that span.
