Astros' Yuli Gurriel: Smashes grand slam
Gurriel went 2-for-4 with a grand slam, three runs scored and a walk in Sunday's 11-10 win over the Angels.

Brandon Dixon 1B | SD
Tigers' Brandon Dixon: Launches 12th home run
Dixon went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Red Sox.
Dixon hit his 12th home run of the season in the eighth inning off Boston reliever Ryan Brasier. The 27-year-old also struck out two more times, and his K rate is sitting at 31 percent heading into the All-Star break. Dixon should continue to offer decent power the rest of the way, but he could struggle with his batting average due to all the swings and misses.

Jose Abreu 1B | HOU
White Sox's Jose Abreu: Clocks 21st homer
Abreu went 3-for-4 with a solo homer in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Cubs.
Abreu gave his squad some insurance, putting the Pale Hose up 3-0 with his fifth-inning blast. The 32-year-old enjoyed a terrific first week of July heading into the All-Star break. He went 10-for-24 (.417 average) with two homers and six RBI. Abreu has collected multiple hits in four of his five games this month.

Justin Bour 1B | SF
Angels' Justin Bour: Retreats to bench
Bour is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Bour had started three of the past four games at first base but failed to record a hit in 12 at-bats. Albert Pujols recently overcame a minor undisclosed injury and looks on track to handle the bulk of the starts at first base now that he's ostensibly healthy again.

Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL
Blue Jays' Rowdy Tellez: Sees uptick in playing time
Tellez will serve as the Blue Jays' designated hitter and will bat eighth Sunday against the Orioles.
Tellez's opportunities looked set to trend downward after Justin Smoak (quadriceps) was activated from the 10-day injured list June 28, but the 24-year-old has been able to stick in the lineup at least semi-regularly. He'll pick up a start for the fourth time in five games as the Blue Jays wrap up their first-half schedule.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr.: Good to go Sunday
Guerrero (illness) will start at third base and bat fifth Sunday against the Orioles.
Guerrero was forced to exit Saturday's 8-1 early due to a stomach illness, but he apparently made enough progress overnight for the Blue Jays to give him the green light to play in their final game before the All-Star break. The rookie, who has gone just 5-for-29 at the dish over his last 10 games, will look to end the first half of a high note before taking part in the Home Run Derby on Monday in Cleveland.

Nate Lowe 1B | CIN
Rays' Nate Lowe: Starting again versus lefty
Lowe will serve as the Rays' designated hitter and will bat fifth Sunday against the Yankees.
After he was on the bench in his first game back with the big club Thursday, Lowe has started in all three of the Rays' subsequent contests. The lefty-hitting slugger will notably draw into the lineup for the series finale, even with the Rays facing a southpaw (James Paxton) for the second straight day. Lowe was able to overcome the lefty-on-lefty matchup with CC Sabathia on Saturday, going deep for the second time of the series in the seventh inning of the Rays' 4-3 win.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Athletics' Matt Olson: Blasts solo shot
Olson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Mariners.
Olson's blast off Mariners starter Marco Gonzales extended the Athletics' lead to 2-0 in the third inning. Olson has hit safely in nine of his last 10 games, batting .266 with five homers and nine RBI in that span. For the season, he's hitting .250/.332/.557 with 18 homers, 35 RBI and 32 runs scored in 56 games.

LaMonte Wade 1B | CHW
Twins' LaMonte Wade: Placed on injured list
Wade (thumb) was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
Wade dislocated his right thumb while attempting to catch a home run Saturday against the Rangers. He'll get 10 days off to heal. Jake Cave was recalled from Triple-A Rochester in a corresponding move.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr.: Leaves with stomach illness
Guerrero left Saturday's game against the Orioles with a stomach ache, Scott Mitchell of TSN.ca reports.
Guerrero went 1-for-3 with a run scored before leaving late in the game. The severity of the illness isn't clear, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Guerrero sit Sunday in order to get a full five days of rest over the All-Star break.
