C.J. Cron 1B | BOS
Rockies' C.J. Cron: Pops homer in win
Cron went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Friday's 13-2 win over the Pirates.
Cron has been hampered by a wrist injury over the last week, but he was able to make an impact Friday. His solo shot in the seventh inning sparked a four-run rally to pad the Rockies' lead, and it was his 21st long ball of the season. Since June 25, he's batting .311 (19-for-61) with four homers, 17 RBI and nine runs scored. The first baseman has maintained a stellar .296/.349/.553 slash line with 69 RBI, 54 runs scored and 20 doubles through 88 contests overall.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Giants' Wilmer Flores: Sitting Friday
Flores (calf) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Brewers, Amy Gutierrez of the Giants' official site reports.
Flores was scratched from Thursday's lineup due to right calf soreness, and he'll be absent from the starting nine again Friday. David Villar will receive another start at the hot corner for San Francisco.

Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: Takes seat Friday
Tellez is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Giants.
Tellez started the past eight games and will head to the bench Friday after posting a .161/.235/.258 slash line during that span. Mike Brosseau will take over at first base for Milwaukee.

Garrett Cooper 1B | ATL
Marlins' Garrett Cooper: Back in action
Cooper (knee) will bat second and play first base Friday against the Phillies, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
A bruised left knee kept Cooper out of the lineup the previous two games, though he did appear off the bench Thursday. He's been cold over his last 10 games, striking out 13 times while recording just three hits, but his overall .295/.362/.453 slash line earned him his first career All-Star nod.

Alec Bohm 3B | PHI
Phillies' Alec Bohm: Reinstated, not starting Friday
Bohm (finger) was reinstated from the restricted list but isn't starting Friday's game against the Marlins.
Bohm was unavailable for the Phillies' recent two-game series in Toronto due to his vaccination status, but he'll rejoin the active roster ahead of the team's road series in Miami. However, the 25-year-old isn't starting as he continues to deal with a finger injury. He'll be available off the bench if necessary, Paige Leckie of MLB.com reports, and will likely return to the lineup Saturday. Matt Vierling will shift to third base while Mickey Moniak starts in center field.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Braves' Matt Olson: Homers in third straight game
Olson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's win over the Nationals.
The 28-year-old slugger capped the scoring for Atlanta by taking Andres Machado deep in the sixth inning. Olson has gone yard in three straight games, giving him 16 homers on the year to go along with a .251/.339/.481 slash line and 53 RBI through 91 contests.

Josh Bell DH | MIN
Nationals' Josh Bell: Launches 13th homer
Bell went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss to Atlanta.
He took Kyle Wright deep in the bottom of the first inning for his 13th long ball of the season, but the Nationals were already in a 2-0 hole. Bell snapped a brief nine-game homer drought in which he's hit only .135 (5-for-37) with zero RBI, but on the year he still sports a .300/.380/.488 slash line, with the batting average and OBP both tracking to be career bests.

Pete Alonso 1B | BAL
Mets' Pete Alonso: Pops two-run homer
Alonso went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, a hit-by-pitch and an additional run scored in Thursday's 8-0 win over the Cubs.
His eighth-inning long ball Thursday was just his second homer in his last 17 games. He's added four doubles during that stretch, but Alonso's overall production has cooled off a bit -- he's batting .215 (14-for-65) with five walks and 15 strikeouts in that span. For the season, the first baseman still has a hearty .268/.344/.527 slash line with 24 homers, 74 RBI, 50 runs scored and two stolen bases through 89 contests.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Giants' Wilmer Flores: Scratched Thursday
Flores was scratched from Thursday's lineup against the Brewers due to right calf tightness, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Flores was originally slated to start at third base and hit third in the order. There's no word on the severity of the issue, but David Villar will enter the lineup to hit sixth and man the hot corner.

C.J. Cron 1B | BOS
Rockies' C.J. Cron: Returns to lineup Thursday
Cron (wrist) is starting Thursday against the Padres.
Cron was out of the lineup for four of the last five games while dealing with a wrist injury, but he appeared off the bench in Wednesday's win and went 1-for-1 with a run. He's starting at first base and batting cleanup Thursday.
