Bell went 4-for-6 with a double, two runs and an RBI in a 14-4 win against the Giants on Friday.

Bell and the rest of the Nationals teed off on the Giants as he got on in the third, sixth, eighth and ninth innings and was responsible for four of 22 hits. The impressive outing raised the 29-year-old's line to .357/.458/.514. Bell is top 10 in both average and OBP, though that has come at the cost of power, as his ISO of .157 is well below a career mark of .205.

Wade (knee) went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, four RBI and two runs in Friday's rehab game at Triple-A Sacramento.

Wade has made four rehab appearances and has hit .364 with five RBI and four runs. Manager Gabe Kapler said the team will discuss whether Wade is ready to rejoin the major-league club following Friday's strong performance, but the Giants initially hoped that the 28-year-old would have a longer rehab assignment.

Freeman went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in a 5-1 victory over Detroit on Friday.

Freeman walked, stole second and scored on a Justin Turner home run in the first inning, and he tacked on a single in the third. The 32-year-old has begun his Dodgers career with a strong line of .311/.388/.486 and two stolen bases in 19 games as he looks to reach double digits for the second time in 13 seasons.

Cron went 2-for-2 with three walks, one RBI and one run scored Friday against the Reds.

Cron delivered an RBI single in the sixth inning to continue his excellent start to the season and extend his hitting streak to four games. He entered the matchup having earned only two walks, though he more than doubled that total by earning three free passes Friday. Cron has maintained a .299/.345/.662 through 84 plate appearances on the campaign, highlighted by seven home runs, 19 RBI and 12 runs scored.

Cronenworth went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and a walk in Friday's 7-3 win over the Pirates.

He upped his average to .213 and now has 12 RBI on the season. It was his third multi-hit game in his last six contests.

Montero was Nick Groke of The Athletic for the first time Friday.

Montero, who came over from St. Louis in the Nolan Arenado trade, has good raw power but comes with questions about his hit tool. In 20 games for Triple-A Albuquerque this season, he's hit .288/.356/.450, good for a 110 wRC+. While he isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Reds, he could see some starting opportunities in the near future, as there's a spot open in the Rockies' lineup while Kris Bryant (back) is on the injured list.

Walker will not start Friday's game against the Cardinals.

Walker sits for just the second time this season, with the Diamondbacks electing to bench all their right-handed bats against Adam Wainwright. Walker hasn't done much to deserve as many opportunities as he's received, as he's hitting just .157/.244/.371 on the year. Seth Beer will start at first base, with David Peralta resting his legs as the designated hitter.

Cooper is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Mariners, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Cooper started the past four games and will take a seat after going 6-for-15 with three doubles, two RBI and three runs during that stretch. Jorge Soler will serve as the designated hitter while Brian Anderson starts in left field.

Goldschmidt went 3-for-4 with a run and three RBI in Thursday's 8-3 victory versus the Diamondbacks.

All three of Goldschmidt's hits were singles, but they were productive as they resulted in three runs batted in. The veteran first baseman extended his hitting streak to seven games with the performance, and he has collected multiple hits in six of those contests. During the streak, Goldschmidt is batting an even .500 (15-for-30) with eight RBI.

Bohm went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI on Thursday against the Rockies.

Bohm began his productive afternoon with an RBI groundout in the second inning. However, the highlight of his performance came two frames later, when he delivered a solo shot to record his second homer of the season. Bohm owns a modest three-game hitting streak, and he's driven in four and scored three runs in that span. Importantly, Bohm also appears to have a clear claim to the starting job at third base as he's now started nine consecutive matchups.
