Rizzo (back) was participating in drills ahead of Monday's game against the Padres, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
Rizzo was participating in agility/running work in the outfield Monday, and he later started taking grounders at first base. The 31-year-old has missed the last five games due to back stiffness, but he could return to game action Monday if he feels good after his pregame warmups.

Reds' Joey Votto: Playing catch Monday
Votto (thumb) was playing catch on the field ahead of Monday's game against the Phillies, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Votto progressed to taking grounders May 22, and the first baseman continues to participate in activities as he recovers from his thumb injury. The 37-year-old has been on the injured list since May 7 due to a fractured left thumb, and his return date isn't yet clear.

Mets' Pete Alonso: Activation imminent
Alonso (hand) is expected to be activated from the injured list for Sunday's game versus Atlanta, or Monday should the game be postponed, Buster Olney of ESPN reports.
The 26-year-old didn't return from the injured list when first eligible Saturday, but he should be back in the lineup a day or two later. Alonso has been taking grounders and hitting off a pitching machine over the past few days and won't require a rehab assignment given his short time on the shelf.

Wade went 1-for-2 with a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 11-6 win over the Dodgers.
Wade pinch hit for Wilmer Flores in the seventh inning and the former stayed in the game at first base after singling, stealing second and scoring in the plate appearance. The 27-year-old Wade is 5-for-15 with a double, a stolen base, one RBI and three runs scored in seven games this season. He's likely to split time with Flores at first base while Brandon Belt (oblique) is out.

Giants' Wilmer Flores: Strong return Saturday
Flores (hamstring) went 3-for-3 with an RBI single and two runs scored in Saturday's 11-6 win over the Dodgers.
Flores had a minimum stay on the injured list, and he was productive while playing six innings in his return. The infielder is slashing .241/.325/.361 with three home runs, 15 RBI, 14 runs scored and a stolen base through 123 plate appearances. With Brandon Belt (oblique) and Darin Ruf (hamstring) out, Flores is likely to split time with LaMonte Wade at first base.

Solano went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, two additional runs scored and a walk in Saturday's 11-6 win over the Dodgers.
Solano cranked a two-run home run off Julio Urias in the third inning to extend the Giants' lead. Long balls are rare for the 33-year-old -- he has never hit more than four homers in any season of his career. Both of his home runs this season have come in the last three games against the Dodgers. He is slashing .269/.302/.410 in 86 plate appearances overall.

The slugger will miss his fifth straight game, with Kris Bryant sliding over to first base once again. It's unknown whether Rizzo will be a pinch-hitting option during the series finale.
