Cronenworth went 0-for-2 with a walk, a hit-by-pitch, a stolen base and a run in Saturday's loss to the Dodgers.

Cronenworth walked and crossed the plate on a wild pitch in the seventh inning, bringing the Padres within a run. He was then hit by a pitch in the eighth and got to second base on a double steal with Wil Myers, though both runners were left stranded. The second-year utility player has swiped two bags this season and is tied for the team lead with 12 runs scored.

Hiura went 3-for-4 with a double and a run in Saturday's victory over the Cubs.

Hiura had not recorded multiple hits in a game since April 10 and had not recorded three hits in a game since Aug. 19, according to Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, but he was able to snap both skids in Saturday's contest. While it has been a rough go of it at the plate for Hiura, the Brewers are giving him ample opportunities to get going, as he started all but three of the club's first 20 games this season.

Smith is not in Sunday's lineup against the Nationals.

Patrick Corbin will take the mound for the Nationals, which will bump Smith from the lineup. Brandon Nimmo will take over in left field and hit leadoff, while Albert Almora will enter the lineup as the center fielder and bat eighth.

Cabrera is not in the lineup for the first game of Sunday's doubleheader against Atlanta.

Cabrera has collected a hit in four of his last five starts but will find the bench with two games on tap for the team Sunday. Eduardo Escobar will shift to second third base with Josh VanMeter taking over duties at the keystone and hitting fifth.

Hoskins went 2-for-4 with two home runs, five total RBI and a walk in Saturday's win over the Rockies.

Hoskins blasted his fifth homer of the season in the third inning -- a two-run bomb off Antonio Senzatela -- and later added a three-run shot off reliever Jhoulys Chacin in the sixth. The first baseman has hit safely in five of his last seven games -- he has gone deep four times and has recorded three multi-hit outings during that stretch.

Beaty was recalled by the Dodgers on Saturday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Beaty made the team's Opening Day roster but didn't do much with his limited opportunities, going 1-for-11 at the plate before being sent down in mid-April. He's unlikely to fill a significant role now that he's back with the team.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-3 with a two-run double, a walk and a run in a win over the Reds on Friday.

The veteran's third-inning two-bagger extended the Cardinals' lead to 3-0 at the time and gave Goldschimdt his third multi-RBI effort of the season. The 33-year-old had gone hitless in three of his previous four games, however, and he's underwhelmed early with a .240/.288/.360 slash through 80 plate appearances.

Cron went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 5-4 win over the Phillies.

Two games after smacking his first home run of the campaign, Cron went deep again Friday, tying the game with a two-run shot off Vince Velasquez in the fourth inning. He now has nine RBI on the season and is slashing .200/.313/.382 across 64 plate appearances.

Hoskins went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's loss to Colorado.

The first baseman gave Philadelphia a two-run lead in the seventh inning with a 439-foot solo blast. The homer was Hoskins' second in the past three games and fourth overall this season. He is slashing .250/.278/.500 with seven RBI.

Rizzo went 2-for-4 with a home run, one double, two RBI and two runs in Friday's 15-2 win over the Brewers.

Rizzo put the Cubs on the board with an RBI double in the first inning before he hit a solo blast with one out in the second. The 31-year-old is now slashing .246/.359/.508 with four home runs, 12 runs and seven RBI to begin the season.
