Luke Voit 1B | NYM
Yankees' Luke Voit: Could return in early August
Voit (knee) is doing "significantly better," per Yankees manager Aaron Boone, and could return to the active roster during the first week of August, MLB.com reports.
The first baseman last played July 16 and has been out since that date while dealing with a bone bruise and inflammation in his left knee. He was able to resume baseball activities earlier this week and appears to be closing in on a return. Injuries have limited Voit to 29 games this season, during which he has slashed .241/.328/.370 with three homers and 11 RBI over 122 plate appearances.

Asdrubal Cabrera 1B | CIN
Diamondbacks' Asdrubal Cabrera: Drives in two in return
Cabrera went 2-for-2 with two RBI and two doubles Saturday against the Cubs.
Cabrera was activated from the injured list Saturday, but he was not in starting lineup. He entered the game as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning and remained in the contest as the third baseman. That was plenty of time for him to bolster the Diamondbacks' lead, as he delivered a two-run double in his first plate appearance. Despite being out of the lineup Saturday, Cabrera could be in line for plenty of plate appearances while both Ketel Marte (hamstring) and Josh Rojas (finger) remain on the injured list. Through 225 plate appearances this season, Cabrera is hitting .247/.338/.402 with five home runs, 26 runs scored and 30 RBI.

Chris Gittens 1B | HOU
Yankees' Chris Gittens: Getting X-rays on ankle
Gittens underwent X-rays on Saturday after stepping on a bat and rolling his ankle, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Gittens had only just returned to the lineup after missing a few days with a minor Achilles injury. Whether or not he'll need to miss more time remains to be seen.

Luke Raley RF | SEA
Dodgers' Luke Raley: Recalled and starting
Raley was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday and will bat eighth and play left field against the Rockies.
Raley gives the Dodgers an extra option in the outfield with Cody Bellinger (hamstring) and Mookie Betts (hip) both temporarily unavailable. He's shown very little in 56 trips to the plate at the big-league level this season, however, hitting just .180/.268/.260. Darien Nunez was optioned in a corresponding move.

Donovan Solano 1B | TEX
Giants' Donovan Solano: Day off Saturday
Solano will sit Saturday against the Pirates, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Solano sits after starting 11 straight games at second base, a stretch in which he hit .279/.340/.302. Wilmer Flores slides to his usual spot Saturday, with Jason Vosler starting at third base.

Jake Cronenworth 1B | SD
Padres' Jake Cronenworth: On bench Saturday
Cronenworth will sit Saturday against the Marlins.
Cronenworth will sit against lefty Braxton Garrett, though he's started against all but three southpaws the Padres faced prior to Saturday, so there's little reason to fear that he's about to slip into a platoon role. Ha-Seong Kim starts at second base in his absence.
-
Yandy Diaz DH | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Takes seat Saturday
Diaz is on the bench for Saturday's game against Cleveland, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
Diaz has gone 7-for-20 with two home runs and four RBI in seven games since the All-Star break, although the bulk of that production came during Thursday's four-hit effort. Ji-Man Choi will start at first base and bat second with the right-handed J.C. Mejia on the mound for Cleveland.

Asdrubal Cabrera 1B | CIN
Diamondbacks' Asdrubal Cabrera: Reinstated from injured list
Cabrera (hamstring) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Saturday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
Cabrera will return to the active roster after he spent two weeks on the injured list with a right hamstring strain. He was at the rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate recently and went 1-for-6 with a walk and four strikeouts. The 35-year-old isn't starting Saturday against the Cubs but could be available off the bench. Josh Rojas (finger) was placed on the 10-day IL in a corresponding move.
-
Bobby Dalbec 1B | CHW
Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: On bench Saturday
Dalbec isn't in the lineup Saturday against the Yankees, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
Dalbec had started each of the last three games while filling in for Christian Arroyo (hamstring), but he'll get a breather after he went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts Friday. Michael Chavis will start at first base and bat ninth.

Ty France 1B | SD
Mariners' Ty France: Reaches base three times in win
France went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run scored in Friday's 4-3 win over the Athletics.
France walked to begin the bottom half of the second and came around to score on a two-run homer from Cal Raleigh. The 26-year-old would end up notching a single and then a double his next two times up, giving him five multi-hit performances over his last seven games. He's been swinging a hot bat for a while now and it's brought his slash line up to .276/.356/.429 with nine homers, 43 RBI, 44 runs scored and a 27:63 BB:K over 368 plate appearances.
