The 24-year-old was pinch-hit for in Game 1 after going 0-for-2 with a strikeout against Jacob DeGrom. Hiura is now 4-for-26 with 13 strikeouts in his last eight games. Newly acquired Rowdy Tellez will start at first base Wednesday night.

Olson got it done with some small ball Tuesday, as he opened the scoring on the afternoon with his first-inning single before notching the final run of the game for Oakland in the second with a grounder that plated Elvis Andrus. The pair of RBI snapped a 13-game drought in that category for Olson, who hit just .170 over that stretch.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with a two-run single and two runs in a win over the Giants on Tuesday.
The veteran slugger's timely fourth-inning knock plated Harrison Bader and Edmundo Sosa to snap a 2-2 tie and give the Cardinals a lead they wouldn't relinquish. Goldschmidt is picking up steam as the first half of the season comes to a close, as he now has a seven-game hitting streak during which he's produced a .379/.438/.552 slash line across 32 plate appearances.

Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: Not starting Game 1 on Wednesday
Tellez is not starting Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Mets, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Tellez has joined the team after being acquired from the Blue Jays on Tuesday, and he's officially been added to the 26-man and 40-man rosters with Daniel Robertson being designated for assignment. He won't start the first half of the twin bill, but he figures to be available off the bench and serve as a candidate to start Game 2.

Vaughn isn't starting Wednesday against Minnesota.
Vaughn had started in each of the last nine games, and he recorded hits in seven of those appearances. The 23-year-old hit .355 with two home runs, two doubles, seven runs and five RBI during that time, but he'll get a breather while Billy Hamilton starts in left field and bats eighth.

Diaz isn't starting the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against Cleveland, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
Diaz had started each of the last three games, and he went 4-for-11 with a home run, a double, five runs, two RBI and two walks during that time. Ji-Man Choi will start at first base while Austin Meadows serves as the designated hitter.

Indians' Josh Naylor: Transferred to 60-day IL
Naylor (ankle) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Wednesday.
Naylor was carted off the field after taking a gruesome hit to his lower body during a collision June 27, and he later underwent surgery to repair multiple fibula fractures and ligament tears. The 24-year-old won't return during the 2021 season, but the team isn't yet sure whether he could be ready for spring training next year, Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Yankees' Luke Voit: Records five hits in win
Voit went 5-for-6 with a double, three RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 12-1 win over the Mariners.
Voit anchored a 12-run, 18-hit offensive display Tuesday night with a career-high five hits, including a two-run single in the second inning and an RBI single in the third. The 30-year-old has started off a bit slow since his return from the injured list in late June; however, he's building up some momentum heading into the All-Star break after hitting safely in each of his last three contests. For the year, Voit's slashing .237/.302/.381 with three homers, 10 RBI, 12 runs scored and a 7:31 BB:K over 106 plate appearances.

France went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday's 12-1 loss to the Yankees.
France was the only Mariner with multiple hits on the evening and drove in the team's lone run on an RBI single to left-center field in the sixth. The 26-year-old has been a bright spot so far this season, slashing .268/.353/.428 with eight homers, 35 RBI, 37 runs scored and a 25:56 BB:K over 317 plate appearances. France is now working on a seven-game hitting streak.
