Cardinals' Paul Goldschmidt: Launches fifth homer
Goldschmidt went 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and three runs during Saturday's 9-8 win against the Rockies.
The 33-year-old was 0-for-8 with four strikeouts over the previous two games, but he busted out of the mini-slump Saturday with his second three-RBI game of the season. Goldschmidt has a .246/.290/.400 slash line with five homers, five doubles, 20 RBI and 23 runs in 32 games this season.

Rhys Hoskins 1B | CLE
Phillies' Rhys Hoskins: On bench Saturday
Hoskins will not start Saturday's game against Atlanta.
Hoskins' power is as present as ever this season, as his eight homers tie him for ninth in the league. His plate discipline has been strangely absent, however, as his 33.6 percent strikeout rate and 6.6 percent walk rate are both far worse than his career 24.1 percent strikeout rate and 14.6 percent walk rate. Despite those shaky numbers, there's been no indication that his day off Saturday is anything other than a routine one. Brad Miller starts at first base in his absence.

Ryan O'Hearn RF | PIT
Royals' Ryan O'Hearn: Remains on bench
O'Hearn isn't starting Saturday's game against the White Sox.
O'Hearn will be out of the lineup for a second straight game after he went hitless with a walk and four strikeouts in his last four at-bats. Salvador Perez will serve as the designated hitter while Sebastian Rivero starts behind the plate.

Alex Kirilloff LF | MIN
Twins' Alex Kirilloff: Slated to take swings
Kirilloff (wrist) is scheduled to take swings in the next few days, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
Kirilloff received a cortisone injection after a visit with a specialist Friday, and he could return to game action in the near future if he's able to swing the bat well. However, manager Rocco Baldelli said that Kirilloff could require surgery if his swinging doesn't go as anticipated. Kirilloff's status going forward could be determined soon and will be highly dependent on how his wrist feels after he takes swings.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Giants' Wilmer Flores: Won't miss time
Flores (back) is in the lineup Saturday against San Diego, batting third and playing second base, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Flores left Friday's game with lower-back tightness. He underwent an MRI, per Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle, but checked out fine, so he won't have to miss any starts.

C.J. Cron 1B | BOS
Rockies' C.J. Cron: Not starting Saturday
Cron (back) isn't starting Saturday against the Cardinals.
Cron was a late scratch Friday due to low back tightness, and he'll be out of the lineup for a second straight game. Connor Joe will start at first base and bat sixth.

Voit began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday and has gone 4-for-9 with a home run, a double, two RBI, two runs and two walks in three games. The 30-year-old could play a few more games at the Triple-A level but will likely be able to make his season debut during the Yankees' upcoming series in Tampa Bay.
