Guerrero went 3-for-5 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 20-6 loss to the Yankees.
The 21-year-old was dialed in, collecting hits on the first pitch in each of his first three at-bats before the Yankees were finally able to retire him in the eighth inning. Guerrero is slashing .251/.328/.440 through 47 games with seven homers and 24 RBI, as he continues to struggle to find his minor-league form.

Rays' Nate Lowe: Slugs third homer
Lowe went 2-for-3 with a walk, a home run, two RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Nationals.
His second-inning solo shot off Anibal Sanchez got the Rays on the board. Lowe has started four straight games, going 6-for-14 with all three of his homers on the year, and he should be a consistent presence in the Rays' lineup over the final days of the regular season.

Braves' Freddie Freeman: Continues to rake
Freeman went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored during the Braves' 5-1 win over the Orioles on Tuesday.
Freeman is slashing a monstrous .500/.559/1.033 through his past 30 at-bats, including 14 RBI. He has reached base safely in 31 consecutive contests and is rapidly building a candidacy for MVP consideration.

Brewers' Keston Hiura: Launches 12th home run
Hiura went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk while recording four total RBI in the Brewers' 18-3 Tuesday night victory over the Cardinals.
Hiura was a lowly 2-for-17 with one RBI over his previous six games prior to Tuesday's strong showing. The Brewers offense has been feast or famine of late, scoring a combined seven runs in five games in between 19- and 18-run outbursts. Part of the volatility stems from Hiura, who is among the worst in the league in strikeout percentage.

Cardinals' Paul Goldschmidt: Plates two in loss
Goldschmidt went 1-for-2 with two RBI and a walk during the Cardinal's 18-3 loss to the Brewers on Tuesday.
Goldschmidt was responsible for most of the Cardinals' production in a lopsided defeat. He extended his hit streak to five and has reached base safely in 14 straight games. Goldschmidt will carry a .314 average into a Wednesday doubleheader.

Diamondbacks' Kole Calhoun: Clobbers former team
Calhoun went 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs and five RBI against the Angels on Tuesday.
Calhoun, who played for the Angels from 2012-2019, hit a two-run home run in his first at-bat as a visitor at Angel Stadium in the first inning. He followed that with a three-run shot in the third inning to account for a season-high five RBI. Despite hitting only .209 this season, Calhoun has provided a much-needed power bat for Arizona, pacing the team with 11 home runs and ranking second with 29 RBI.

Astros' Yuli Gurriel: Returns to lineup
Gurriel (hand) is starting Tuesday against the Rangers, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Gurriel was held out of Sunday's lineup after hurting his hand Saturday, but he'll return to action Tuesday, playing first base. Over the last five games, Gurriel went 3-for-16 with a home run and five RBI.

Phillies' Rhys Hoskins: May need surgery
Hoskins (elbow) will visit a doctor Tuesday and could wind up requiring Tommy John surgery, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.
Hoskins landed on the 10-day injured list Monday with a UCL injury in his left arm, and the issue is potentially quite serious. If he does undergo the surgery, he'd be shut down for the year, though Tommy John recovery doesn't take nearly as long for hitters as for pitchers, so he'd have a shot to be ready by Opening Day next season.

Pirates' Josh Bell: Strong stretch continues Monday
Bell went 2-for-6 with a walk and his seventh homer in Monday's doubleheader loss to the Reds.
He's hit three home runs in his last five games. The 28-year-old has also lifted his batting average to .242, the highest its been since Opening Day. Bell is slashing .464/.516/.821 during an eight-game batting streak covering his last 32 plate appearances. He's 6-for-18 with a double and a homer against Tuesday's starter, Michael Lorenzen.

Mountcastle went 3-for-5 with a homer and three RBI in Monday's 14-1 win over Atlanta.
Mountcastle got the offensive frenzy started with an RBI single in the first inning. He later knocked his 5th homer of the season during a nine-run third frame. The rookie slugger is slashing .364/.425/.610 with 18 RBI in 87 plate appearances.
