Cron mashed a pinch-hit, two-run home run in Sunday's win over the Rays.

Cron's eighth-inning blast broke a 2-2 tie, propelling Los Angeles to a 4-3 win. The 27-year-old first baseman has put up an underwhelming .220/.271/.333 line after hitting 16 home runs in each of the previous two seasons, but he should be able to earn more playing time if he heats up given that alternative option Luis Valbuena owns an equally unimpressive .186/.267/.344 line.

Bour is out of the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers.

Bour hasn't missed a start in the month of July, but with lefty Rich Hill set to take the mound for the opposing Dodgers, the timing seemed right for a regular day off. Tyler Moore will take over at first base for what's likely to be a single-game absence.

Voit is out of the lineup Sunday against the Pirates.

Since Kolten Wong returned from the DL on Friday, Voit will have now been on the bench in two of three contests. Once again Sunday, Wong will man the keystone, while Matt Carpenter slides over to start over Voit at first base.

Rizzo went 1-for-5 with a solo homer Saturday against the Orioles.

Rizzo crushed his 21st bomb of the season in the eighth inning of a blowout victory. Although the slugger is hitting just .258, he more than makes up for it with his .509 slugging percentage.

Cabrera went 2-for-5 with a walk and three RBI in Friday's win over the Rockies.

The performance snapped a 1-for-19 mini-slump Cabrera had been in heading into the All-Star break. The veteran infielder could be in another uniform within the next couple of weeks, but his .253/.336/.403 slash line isn't likely to fetch a big return for the Mets.

Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's 4-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

A scoring decision denied him a third RBI, as Freeman's single with runners on second and third in the bottom of the eighth inning brought home the winning runs for Atlanta, but only after Brandon Phillips tripped rounding third, got up and scored anyway when the throw from the outfield came into second base. Adjusting to a new defensive home at third base hasn't affected Freeman at the plate at all, as he's collected a hit in seven straight games since coming off the DL, posting a .400/.438/.800 slash line with three homers and 10 RBI.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Braves.

The homer was his 21st of the season, but run production has been a little hard for Goldschmidt to come by lately -- he has just three RBI in his last 11 games, all from solo shots. His 1.011 OPS is still a career high, though, and the first baseman's opportunities should pick up once A.J. Pollock finds a groove at the plate from the leadoff spot.

Rodriguez went 0-for-12 over his last four games for Triple-A Columbus prior to the All-Star break and has not had consecutive games with a hit since early June, Branson Wright of The Plain Dealer reports.

The 23-year-old is enduring a rough ride in his first rodeo at Triple-A. Rodriguez is slashing just .134/.235/.303 through his first 73 games, while amassing a monstrous 42.1 percent strikeout rate.

Bell went 2-for-3 with a homer, two walks and four RBI on Friday against the Cardinals.

Bell's 17th of blast of the year was of the walk-off variety, lifting the Pirates to a dramatic 5-2 victory. Despite having a weak batting average, he's provided fantasy managers with a solid .484 slugging percentage, making him a good option as a corner infielder.

Voit is not in Friday's lineup against the Pirates, Bill Brink of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Voit will start the second half of the season with a day on the bench after starting the past seven games at first. In his place, Matt Carpenter draws the start while Kolten Wong mans the keystone.
