Josh Bell DH | MIN
Diamondbacks' Josh Bell: Back in lineup Sunday
Bell will start at first base and bat cleanup in Sunday's game against the Astros.
Bell was on the bench for the first two games of the series, but he'll move back into the starting nine for the finale while Ketel Marte and Christian Walker get the evening off. Though Marte should eventually reclaim a full-time role at second base after being eased back in the lineup at designated hitter in the previous two contests, Arizona likely won't have room in the lineup for Bell against right-handed pitching while Walker and Joc Pederson occupy first base and the DH spot, respectively. Bell should at least replace the lefty-hitting Pederson in the lineup when the Diamondbacks face left-handed pitching.

Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Not in Sunday's lineup
Walker is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.
Walker will hit the bench for the series finale in Houston after going 2-for-10 with two walks and a double while starting the previous three games. Josh Bell will start at first base and bat cleanup in his place.

LaMonte Wade 1B | CHW
Giants' LaMonte Wade: Absent from Sunday's lineup
Wade is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
It's the second straight game on the bench for Wade, who is in the midst of a 3-for-32 slump. Jerar Encarnacion is starting at first base in the series finale at San Diego.

Niko Kavadas 1B | LAA
Angels' Niko Kavadas: Idle against southpaw
Kavadas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.
The lefty-hitting Kavadas had started at designated hitter in each of the Angels' last four matchups against righties, but he'll take a seat Sunday versus Rangers southpaw Andrew Heaney. Brandon Drury will get a day out of the infield and will replace Kavadas as the club's DH.

Nolan Schanuel 1B | LAA
Angels' Nolan Schanuel: Taking seat Sunday
Schanuel is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.
Schanuel started the previous 11 games after missing a couple contests due to a back issue, and he'll receive Sunday off after going 5-for-40 since rejoining the lineup. Charles Leblanc will take over at first base and bat third in the series finale at Texas.

Jake Bauers RF | MIL
Brewers' Jake Bauers: On bench again Sunday
Bauers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
Bauers is sitting for the second straight day as Kyle Freeland is the second consecutive lefty to start for Colorado. Gary Sanchez will step in behind the plate while William Contreras rests his legs as the designated hitter.
-
Michael Busch 3B | CHC
Cubs' Michael Busch: Taking seat Sunday
Busch is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.
Busch went 1-for-17 while starting the past seven games but will sit Sunday against New York righty Gerrit Cole. Cody Bellinger will shift to first base while Mike Tauchman receives a start in right field.
-
Justin Turner 1B | CHC
Mariners' Justin Turner: Late add to lineup
Turner is starting at first base and batting fifth Sunday against the Cardinals.
The 39-year-old was poised to sit Sunday in St. Louis but will instead start the contest since Victor Robles (elbow) was scratched. Turner is off to a slow start in September, as he's gone 4-for-20 with four walks, a double, an RBI and two runs in six games.

Carlos Santana 1B | ARI
Twins' Carlos Santana: Sitting Sunday
Santana (illness) is absent from Sunday's lineup against Kansas City.
Santana left in the fifth inning of Saturday's game due to an illness, and he will sit for the series finale Sunday. Jose Miranda will start at first base while Ryan Jeffers serves as the designated hitter.

Yandy Diaz 1B | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Not in Sunday's lineup
Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.
Diaz started the previous four games and will receive a day off after going 7-for16 with two homers, five RBI and three runs during that span. Jonathan Aranda will receive a start at first base in the series finale at Baltimore.
