The Brewers designated Miller for assignment Monday.

The 27-year-old has spent most of his time this season in the minors, having slashed just .185/.185/.222 across 27 plate appearances during his time in the majors in 2024. Miller offers some defensive versatility and has flashed at times offensively, so it's possible he draws some interest via trade or waivers.

Singleton will start at first base and bat fifth in Monday's game against the Blue Jays, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Singleton looks to have indirectly overtaken Joey Loperfido for a regular spot in Houston's typical lineup versus right-handed pitching. Though Mauricio Dubon had been poaching playing time from Singleton at first base, Dubon has now made his last three starts at second base, left field and right field while Singleton has covered first base in each of those contests and Loperfido has been on the bench. Singleton closed June on a high note, going 7-for-16 with a home run, a walk, four RBI and two additional runs over his last five games.

Guerrero (hand) will start at first base and bat third in Monday's game against the Astros.

Guerrero was hit in the right hand by a pitch in the third inning of Sunday's 8-1 loss to the Yankees, but he proceeded to stay in the game until he was lifted for a pinch hitter in the bottom of the eighth. X-rays on Guerrero's hand came back negative, and his removal from the contest might just have been precautionary while the Blue Jays faced a seven-run deficit at the time of his exit. Even with a quick turnaround for Monday's Canada Day game that begins at 3:07 p.m. ET, the Blue Jays evidently felt comfortable enough with Guerrero's health to insert him back in the lineup.

Walker went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Athletics.

Walker ignited the scoring in the fourth with an RBI base knock and later extended Arizona's lead with another RBI single in the seventh. It was his seventh game in June with multiple hits and his fifth game of the year with a trio of base knocks. Walker has been a steady source of run production for the Diamondbacks this season, slashing .256/.330/.472 with 17 homers, 53 RBI, 49 runs and a 33:88 BB:K in 358 plate appearances.

Lowe went 2-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 11-2 win over the Orioles.

Lowe was part of the Rangers' offensive explosion Sunday and finished the month on an upswing. He went 8-for-21 (.381) with a double, two home runs, eight RBI and three additional runs scored over the final five games of June.

Pasquantino went 3-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Guardians.

Pasquantino has gone 11-for-27 (.407) with nine RBI across his last seven games, ending June on a high note. The first baseman's recent surge has him up to a .247/.321/.436 slash line for the year, nearly identical to his marks over 61 contests in 2023. He's added 10 home runs, 55 RBI, 39 runs scored, 21 doubles and two triples through 82 games this year, playing on a near-everyday basis between first base and designated hitter.

Singleton went 3-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Mets.

Singleton took Mets starter Luis Severino deep in the second inning for his sixth homer of the season and first in over a month. The first baseman later added two more hits, giving him his first three-hit game of the season. Through 59 games, Singleton has accumulated 205 plate appearances, totaling six home runs, three doubles, 18 RBI, 23 runs and a 26:53 BB:K.

Mountcastle was unavailable for Sunday's 11-2 loss to the Rangers due to an illness, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Mountcastle's absence from the lineup was a surprising one Sunday considering his impressive .306/.359/.494 slash line against left-handed pitchers this season, but manager Brandon Hyde clarified after the contest that Mountcastle was feeling under the weather. With Baltimore off Monday, there's a good chance that Mountcastle will be ready to go for the team's series opener in Seattle on Tuesday.

Vaughn went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two additional RBI in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Rockies.

Vaughn tied the game in the seventh inning with an RBI walk before knotting the game up in the 10th inning with a sacrifice fly. The 26-year-old quietly had an impressive month of June, batting .337 with six home runs, 20 RBI and 17 runs scored in 25 games played.

The Brewers optioned Black to Triple-A Nashville following Sunday's 7-1 win over the Cubs, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

The 23-year-old was called up by Milwaukee on June 19 but totaled just 12 at-bats before being sent back to Triple-A. Black is one of the organization's top prospects but doesn't have a clear path to playing time in the big leagues given who the Brewers currently have available, so he'll go back to the minors to get more consistent playing time.
