Michael Stefanic 2B | TOR
Angels' Michael Stefanic: Sitting out Saturday
Stefanic (calf) isn't in the Angels' lineup for Saturday's game against Houston, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Stefanic made an early exit from Friday's game with what was labeled as minor tightness in his right calf, but it seems to be serious enough to warrant sitting him down Saturday. Jack Lopez will get the starting nod at second base instead and bat ninth.

Brandon Drury 2B | KC
Angels' Brandon Drury: Remaining out Saturday
Drury (hamstring) isn't in the Angels' lineup Saturday against the Astros, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Drury will miss a second consecutive start Saturday after exiting Wednesday's contest with a sore left hamstring. With Michael Stefanic (calf) also nursing an injury, Jack Lopez will pick up a start at second base and bat ninth.

Jackson Holliday SS | BAL
Orioles' Jackson Holliday: Absent from Saturday's lineup
Holliday is not starting Saturday's game against the Tigers.
Holliday has started each of Baltimore's last three games at second base, though he'll sit after collecting only two hits in his last 25 at-bats. Livan Soto will take over at the keystone and hit eighth.

Christopher Morel DH | MIA
Rays' Christopher Morel: Sitting Saturday
Morel (Achilles) is not in Saturday's lineup against Cleveland.
Morel was forced to exit Friday's game after suffering a leg injury while running the bases. The injury isn't believed to be serious, but Morel will get at least one more day to rest.

Zack Gelof 2B | ATH
Athletics' Zack Gelof: Stays hot in win
Gelof went 2-for-4 with an RBI double in a win over the White Sox on Friday.
Gelof provided one of only two extra-base knocks for the Athletics while generating his third multi-hit effort in the last five games. Gelof's bat has seemingly woken from its season-long slumber in September, as he kicked off the month with a three-hit tally and has posted a .304 average, .812 OPS, six extra-base hits, four RBI, four steals and six runs across 48 plate appearances. His contact issues persist -- even in that productive sample, he's still struck out at a 31.3 percent clip -- but he's been able to raise his season average to .212, a meager figure that's nevertheless at its highest point since July 9.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Royals' Adam Frazier: Pops solo shot
Frazier went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 8-3 win over the Pirates.
Frazier has seen minimal playing time in September -- this was his first start of the month, and it came at third base. He hit a decent .267 over 21 games in August, but Frazier has seen the least usage of the Royals' options at second base and third base. Maikel Garcia, Paul DeJong and Michael Massey are all ahead of him at this stage of the season. Frazier has a .205/.281/.295 slash line with four homers, 20 RBI, 32 runs scored and two stolen bases over 272 plate appearances.

Michael Stefanic 2B | TOR
Angels' Michael Stefanic: Dealing with minor tightness
Stefanic was removed from Friday's game versus the Astros due to right calf tightness, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Manager Ron Washington said after Friday's loss that Stefanic's injury is relatively minor, so an extended absence is unlikely. If he and Brandon Drury (hamstring) are both unable to play Saturday, Jack Lopez would be the favorite to start at second base.

Christopher Morel DH | MIA
Rays' Christopher Morel: Exits with injury
Morel was removed from Friday's game versus Cleveland due to right Achilles discomfort, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports.
Morel appeared to tweak his lower leg while turning back to first base after hitting a single in the third inning, and he ended up getting pulled for a pinch runner. The severity of his injury remains unknown, though it's possible the Rays will give him a day or two off even if it isn't too serious.

Jose Altuve 2B | HOU
Astros' Jose Altuve: Back in lineup Friday
Altuve (side) is starting at second base and batting in the leadoff spot for Friday's game against the Angels.
Altuve left in the sixth inning of Wednesday's game against the Athletics due to a side issue. The 34-year-old is back in the lineup after a one-game absence and will return to second base for the series opener. Since Aug. 1, Altuve has slashed .289/.365/.444 with five stolen bases, five home runs and 15 RBI across 159 plate appearances.
