Jordan Diaz 3B | ATH
Athletics' Jordan Diaz: Takes seat Sunday
Diaz is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.
Diaz was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday and went 2-for-6 with a walk while starting the past two games at designated hitter. Seth Brown is serving as the designated hitter Sunday while Conner Capel starts in the outfield.

Romy Gonzalez 2B | BOS
White Sox's Romy Gonzalez: Shifts to 60-day IL
The White Sox transferred Gonzalez (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday.
Though Gonzalez was officially diagnosed with right shoulder inflammation upon landing on the 10-day IL on June 19, he'll wind up missing at least two months -- well beyond the timeline typically associated with the injury. With Gonzalez on the shelf until at least the second half of August, Zach Remillard may have some staying power on the White Sox's 26-man active roster as a utility infielder.

Brandon Drury 2B | KC
Angels' Brandon Drury: Moves to injured list
Drury was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a left shoulder contusion.
Drury was on the bench Sunday for the third straight game with the shoulder bruise, so the Angels opted to move him to the IL. The 30-year-old won't be eligible to return until after the All-Star break July 14 against Houston, so he'll afforded a few extra days to recover without missing more games. Andrew Velazquez was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake to provide infield depth.

Brandon Drury 2B | KC
Angels' Brandon Drury: Still sitting Sunday
Drury (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
The 30-year-old will sit for the third straight game after he suffered a shoulder injury Thursday against the White Sox. Drury remains on the lineup card for now, but a move to the IL could be on the horizon since infielder Andrew Velazquez has joined the club as a member of the taxi squad.

Andres Gimenez 2B | TOR
Guardians' Andres Gimenez: Solid in Saturday's win
Gimenez went 1-for-3 with one RBI, a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Cubs.
Gimenez has made a slight improvement lately, going 14-for-54 (.259) over his last 14 games to raise his season batting average to .243. He's added 10 RBI and two stolen bases in that span. The second baseman remains a near-everyday presence in the Guardians' lineup, though his .676 OPS is a steep decline from the .837 mark he posted last year. Gimenez has added nine steals, five home runs, 29 RBI and 34 runs this season.

Christian Arroyo 2B | NYM
Red Sox's Christian Arroyo: Sitting out Sunday
Arroyo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.
Enrique Hernandez will check in at the keystone in place of Arroyo, who had started at the position in seven of the past eight games. Since turning in a five-hit performance June 20 against the Twins, Arroyo has gone just 4-for-28 over his past eight contests to drop his season-long batting average down to .234.

Edouard Julien 2B | COL
Twins' Edouard Julien: Sits out against lefty
Julien is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.
Along with Joey Gallo and Max Kepler, Julien is one of three Twins left-handed-hitting regulars who will head to the bench while the Orioles bring a southpaw (Cole Irvin) to the bump for the series finale. Kyle Farmer will check in at the keystone in place of Julien, who is slashing .281/.364/.386 in 18 games since returning to the big leagues June 10.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Orioles' Adam Frazier: Bows out of starting nine
Frazier is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.
Frazier had started at the keystone in each of the Orioles' last three games, going 1-for-7 with a home run and a pair of walks. Though the recent call-up of versatile infielder Jordan Westburg threatens Frazier's playing time, shortstop Jorge Mateo has been the most negatively affected by Westburg's arrival so far. The Orioles will make room for both Westburg and Mateo in Sunday's lineup, but Mateo hadn't started any of the Orioles' last three contests.

Marcus Semien 2B | NYM
Rangers' Marcus Semien: Notches steal in win
Semien went 3-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and an RBI in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Astros.
Semien notched his eighth steal and first since taking two bags May 13, a span of 43 games without a stolen base or an attempt. He's well off last season's pace when he posted 25 steals in 161 games. The second baseman also recorded his sixth multi-hit game in his last eight and is batting .429 (15-for-35) during that stretch.

Jordan Diaz 3B | ATH
Athletics' Jordan Diaz: On base thrice in win
Diaz went 2-for-4 with a walk in an extra-inning win over the White Sox on Saturday.
After going hitless in a start that occurred just hours after being called up from Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday, Diaz seemed to be more settled in at the plate Saturday. The promising 22-year-old's multi-hit effort was his third in 26 big-league games thus far this season, and the productive performance was reminiscent of the many he'd put up with the Aviators during his most recent minor-league stint, when he posted a .308/.353/.505 slash line over 25 games.
