Frazier went 1-for-5 with a walk and three runs in an extra-innings win over the Royals on Sunday.

Frazier's weekend funk at the plate persisted to an extent, but the talented leadoff man still made a solid impact, including scoring the winning run in the 12th inning on Jesse Winker's single. Frazier went just 1-for-14 during the three-game series versus the Royals, but given his previous body of work, he's likely to snap out of that malaise in short order.

Mendick went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored Sunday against the Twins.

Jake Burger has served as the team's primary third baseman with Yoan Moncada (oblique) and Josh Harrison (shoulder) sidelined. However, Mendick drew a spot start Sunday, and he delivered a solo homer to lead off the seventh inning for his first long ball of the season. Burger has only one hit across his last 19 at-bats, so it's possible that Mendick picks up some extra playing time in the short term if he continues to hit well.

Semien went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk in a 2-0 loss Sunday in Oakland.

Semien led off the game with a single, walked in the third and doubled in the eighth. It was just the second multi-hit game of the season for the second baseman. After signing a massive contract with Texas, he has struggled to produce or hit for power as a Ranger. Over the last week he has been better, going 6-for-21 with two doubles and three walks but he remains in search of his first home run of 2022.

Gimenez went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a strikeout in Sunday's 10-2 loss to the Yankees.

Gimenez had a day off against a left-handed pitcher Saturday, but he drove in the Guardians' only two runs while returning to the field in Sunday's series finale. The 23-year-old is now in the midst of a four-game hitting streak in which he's gone 5-for-12 with a triple, three RBI, a run and a stolen base.

Lopez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.

With a tough southpaw (Robbie Ray) on the bump for Seattle, the lefty-hitting Lopez will retreat to the bench for the first time this season. After opening the campaign as the Royals' No. 9 hitter, Lopez has hit either first or second in the order in each of the past five games, going a collective 4-for-19 with two doubles and two walks.

Andrus is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.

He'll get his second day off of the season after a string of six consecutive starts. Nick Allen, who has been seeing most of his reps at second base lately for the decimated Athletics, will cover shortstop while Andrus rests.

Ibanez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Ibanez will give way to Charlie Culberson at third base for the series finale after starting in each of Texas' previous three games. With a .540 OPS through 45 plate appearances on the season, Ibanez likely hasn't done enough to this point to give himself significant job security.

The Guardians activated Miller (illness) from the COVID-19 injured list Sunday, Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. He'll start at first base and bat sixth in Cleveland's series finale with the Yankees.

Cleveland optioned reliever Konnor Pilkington to Triple-A Columbus to reopen a spot on the 28-man active roster for Miller, who was unavailable for four days due to MLB's COVID-19 protocols. Prior to being deactivated, Miller had solidified himself as a near-everyday player by slashing .500/.545/.964 over his first 33 plate appearances of the season. Now that he's healthy again, Miller should continue to play on a regular basis, with most of his opportunities likely coming at first base.

Lowe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Lowe will take a seat along with fellow lefty-hitting regulars Josh Lowe and Ji-Man Choi as the Rays load up on right-handed bats to counter Boston southpaw Rich Hill. Randy Arozarena will replace Lowe as the Rays' leadoff hitter, while Vidal Brujan fills in for Lowe at second base.

Castro is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Castro had served as the Tigers' primary shortstop for the past week and a half, but he'll transition back into a utility role with Javier Baez (thumb) making his return from the 10-day injured list Sunday. After providing four hits in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader with the Rockies, Castro is sitting on a .308 average for the season.
