Chavis went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-5 extra-innings win over the Blue Jays.

The rookie's 10th homer of the season was a big one, as he tattooed a Jimmy Cordero cutter 424 feet to straightaway center field in the top of the 13th inning to finally put away a Toronto squad that had come back to tied the score in the ninth and 12th. Chavis is slashing .283/.382/.585 through his first 28 big-league games.

Estrada went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 7-5 win at Baltimore.

Estrada received his first start in a week but still joined in on the home-run barrage against the Orioles with the 417-foot blast in the second inning. The 23-year-old is likely to continue seeing intermittent starting chances for the Yankees despite his .316/.333/.605 slash line in 38 at-bats.

Torres went 2-for-5 with a pair of solo home runs in the Yankees' 7-5 victory over the Orioles on Wednesday.

Torres just keeps demolishing Baltimore pitching, as this was already his fourth multi-homer game of the year against the Orioles, who have remarkably yielded 10 of his 12 home runs on the season overall. It's anyone's guess why they continue to pitch to him, but the Yankees have one more game at Camden Yards on Thursday to close off a four-game set, so the young infielder will get one more chance to pad those numbers.

Andrus (hamstring) went 0-for-3 in the first game of his rehab assignment with Double-A Frisco on Tuesday.

Andrus served as the designated hitter Tuesday and will do so again Wednesday, according to Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News. The injured shortstop is expected to be activated off the injured list Saturday, the first day he is eligible. While Andrus has been on the IL, Logan Forsythe has been the primary fill-in at shortstop for the Rangers.

Kemp started in left field and went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run scored in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the White Sox.

Kemp, who entered Sunday's game after George Springer (back) was removed, has started both games since. He's 3-for-6 with a double as the fill-in starter. Springer is not yet ready to bat or play the field but is available as a pinch runner if needed.

Arraez knocked a solo home run while going 2-for-4 in a victory over the Angels on Tuesday.

Arraez's first home run as a major leaguer -- a 384-foot shot to center field -- closed out the scoring for the Twins in the comeback victory. Since his debut May 18, the rookie is hitting an eye-popping .583 (7-for-12). Judging by his .344 average in 160 minor-league at-bats this year, the ability to hit for average may be legit, though the power display Tuesday probably is not -- he has hit only six homers in 1,376 career minor-league at-bats.

Rengifo was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake and is starting at second base while hitting eighth Tuesday against the Twins.

This is the corresponding move to Andrelton Simmons landing on the 10-day injured list with a Grade 3 left ankle sprain -- an injury that can carry an 8-to-12-week timetable. Rengifo is a better fit at second base, so David Fletcher is serving as the Angels' shortstop, but it still seems like Rengifo will have an opportunity to prove he belongs in the big leagues this time around. He is not a true burner, but has good instincts on the bases and could be a fantasy asset in that department as long as he is playing regularly. Rengifo, 22, hit .275/.333/.468 with five home runs and three steals in 120 plate appearances in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League this season.

Arraez went 3-for-4 with a run scored Monday in the Twins' 3-1 win over the Angels.

After reaching base three times in Sunday's series finale in Seattle, Arraez was awarded a second straight start at second base Monday. The rookie again delivered at the dish, adding three base hits to his ledger while coming around to score the Twins' first run of the night. Despite the strong start to his MLB career, Arraez doesn't appear to have a clear path to everyday playing time with the Twins at full strength around the diamond and seemingly committed to Jonathan Schoop and Jorge Polanco as their regular middle-infield tandem.

Andrus (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Frisco on Tuesday.

Andrus is eligible to return from the injured list Saturday and reportedly expects a minimum-length stay. Given how soon he's starting his rehab assignment, he appears to be on target to return on that date.

Torres went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in the Yankees' 10-7 comeback victory over the Orioles on Monday.

Torres continues to torment Orioles pitching, as he now has 11 homers and 21 RBI in 20 career games against Baltimore, and three multi-homer games against them this season alone, per MLB.com's Bryan Hoch. This was the first of a four-game set in Baltimore, so the young infielder will get plenty more chances to add to those numbers. He's now slashing .298/.333/.538 with 10 homers and 23 RBI on the season.
