Jackson is opening the year in extended spring training, Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com reports.

This comes as a bit of a surprise, as Jackson was pretty impressive last season in rookie ball and his teammate from the same draft class, Jordyn Adams, was given the assignment to Low-A. It seems like we may have to wait until short-season leagues open in mid-June to see Jackson make his 2019 debut, likely back in the Pioneer League.

Semien went 1-for-2 with two walks, a stolen base and a run in a loss to the Red Sox on Wednesday.

Semien was a thorn in the side of the Red Sox for the night, even swiping his first bag of the season in the eighth to put himself in position to eventually score the tying run at the time on Ramon Laureano's groundout. Semien has now reached safely in eight of the first nine games of the season courtesy of five walks, two doubles and a home run.

Torres will start at shortstop and bat seventh in Thursday's game against the Orioles, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

After making 21 appearances at shortstop in 2018, Torres should already be usable at either middle-infield spot in the majority of fantasy leagues, but he also looks on track to maintain eligibility at both positions heading into 2020. He'll be making his fourth appearance of the season at shortstop Thursday and should play the position regularly after the Yankees shifted Troy Tulowitzki (calf) to the injured list, joining Didi Gregorius (elbow) there.

Estrada has been called up to the Yankees to replace the injured Troy Tulowitzki (calf), Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

With Tulowitzki forced from the Yankees' Wednesday game against the Tigers with a strained left calf and headed to the injured list, New York has called up Estrada to take the roster spot of the veteran shortstop. The 23-year-old has no big-league experience and doesn't figure to see much playing time barring another injury. He did have a solid spring training at the dish, with a .286/.394/.464 slash line over 28 at-bats.

Beckham went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Yankees.

Making only his second start of the season, Beckham cracked an eighth-inning shot off Chad Green which proved to be the difference in the game. The 32-year-old hadn't homered in the majors since 2016, and he has limited fantasy value in his utility role for the Tigers. If injuries open up a path to more consistent playing time for him he might be rosterable in deeper AL-only formats.

Lowe is 4-for-7 with a home run, two RBI, a walk and two runs over the last two games after starting the season 0-for-9.

After a 2-for-4 night Monday that included a two-run home run, Lowe entered Tuesday's game after Daniel Robertson was pulled due to illness. Lowe responded with a 2-for-3 effort during which he also walked. The promising 24-year-old is projected to continue seeing regular playing time while Joey Wendle (hamstring) remains on the shelf.

Drury will head to the bench for the first time this season Wednesday against the Orioles.

Drury has gone 6-for-25 at the plate through six games. Richard Urena picks up the start at third base in his absence.

Torres is starting at shortstop and hitting fourth against the Tigers on Tuesday, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.

Torres hit eighth in three of New York's first four games coming into this contest, but he'll move up to the cleanup spot as the Yankees adjust to the loss of Miguel Andujar (shoulder). Should this become a recurring trend, it could result in an uptick in run production for the talented 22-year-old, who is hitting .313 through 16 at-bats so far this season, but has yet to drive in a run.

Lowe went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run with two runs scored in Monday's 7-1 win over Colorado.

After striking out in the first inning, Lowe was 0-for-10 to start the year before going deep in the fourth inning. Expect the rookie infielder to be a regular for the Rays while Joey Wendle (hamstring) is on the IL.

The Rays recalled Arroyo from Triple-A Durham on Monday.

As anticipated, Arroyo will assume the active roster spot of Joey Wendle (hamstring), who was placed on the injured list in a corresponding move. Arroyo will bolster the Rays' depth in the infield but isn't expected to see regular at-bats for the duration of his stay in Tampa Bay.
