Nolan Gorman 2B | STL
Cardinals' Nolan Gorman: Clubs 14th homer
Gorman went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Pirates.
His eighth-inning blast off Colin Holderman gave the Cardinals some life, but they couldn't complete the comeback. Gorman has slowed down since his May hot streak, batting .179 (7-for-39) over his prior 10 games coming into Saturday, but the 23-year-old is still on pace for a breakout season -- he's up to 14 homers, matching his total from 2022 in 36 fewer contests, with a .276/.364/.564 slash line and 44 RBI in 53 games.

Ha-seong Kim 2B | ATL
Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Keeps running Saturday
Kim went 2-for-2 with a double, a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Cubs.
Kim has stolen a base in each of the last five games he's started, giving him 11 thefts in 13 chances this season. He's shown a bit more consistency at the plate as well, going 24-for-82 (.293) since the start of May. The 27-year-old infielder's raised his slash line to .250/.347/.393 with five home runs, 18 RBI, 23 runs scored and nine doubles through 54 contests. Rougned Odor (groin) is expected to avoid the injured list, but Kim's solid hitting should continue to make him the Padres' preferred option at second base.

Luis Arraez 2B | SF
Marlins' Luis Arraez: Perfect 5-for-5 on Saturday
Arraez went 5-for-5 with three doubles, five RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 12-1 victory over the Athletics.
The reigning American League batting champion showed exactly why he's considered one of MLB's top bats Saturday. Arraez picked up a hit in all five plate appearances, including three doubles, as he drove in a season-high five batters and secured his fourth multi-hit outing of his last six appearances. Though he has just one homer on the season, Arraez trails only Jorge Soler for most RBI on the Marlins while slashing an incredible .390/.441/.485 through 54 games.

Brett Wisely 2B | ATL
Giants' Brett Wisely: Takes seat Saturday
Wisely isn't in the Giants' lineup Saturday against Baltimore, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Wisely has logged a base hit in each of his last two games, but his .517 OPS over the last seven days will send him to the bench Saturday. Casey Schmitt will start at second base instead, allowing Brandon Crawford to start at short and bat ninth.

Miguel Vargas 2B | CHW
Dodgers' Miguel Vargas: Sitting Saturday
Vargas isn't in the Dodgers' lineup Saturday against the Yankees, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
Vargas holds just a .468 OPS over the past week, so he'll get a day off Saturday against Gerrit Cole and the Yankees. Mookie Betts will take Vargas' place at second base, allowing Jason Heyward to start in left field and bat sixth.

Brice Turang 2B | MIL
Brewers' Brice Turang: Sitting Saturday
Turang isn't starting Saturday against the Reds.
Turang is just 1-for-36 across his last 12 games, putting him at serious risk of losing reps to the hotter bats of Owen Miller and Andruw Monasterio. Miller will start at second base in Turang's place, moving Brian Anderson to third base and allowing Blake Perkins to start in right field.

Ji-Hwan Bae 2B | NYM
Pirates' Ji Hwan Bae: Out against lefty
Bae isn't starting Saturday against St. Louis, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.
As southpaw Jordan Montgomery prepares to start Saturday for the Cards, the left-handed bat of Bae will begin the game in the dugout. Rodolfo Castro will take Bae's place at second base and bat fifth.

Jonathan India 2B | KC
Reds' Jonathan India: Hits go-ahead homer in third
India went 1-for-3 with two HBP and a two-run home run in Friday's 5-4 loss to Milwaukee.
India hit a go-ahead, two-run home run in the third to give the Reds a 3-2 lead, marking his sixth long ball of the season. The 2018 first-round pick won NL Rookie of the Year in 2021, but he struggled last year. He's back to producing like he did as a rookie, slashing .278/.368/.431 across 57 appearances, and has been slugging the ball better of late with three home runs and a double over his past six games (25 at-bats).
