Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that Kim has been dealing with a left shoulder issue and won't play Sunday versus Boston, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

According to Roberts, Kim has been dealing with the injury for about a week. Roberts suggested that the injury has been impacting the rookie infielder at the plate, but despite looking uncomfortable at the dish at times Saturday, Kim played eight innings and went 2-for-3. He was lifted for a pinch hitter in the ninth, but that may not have been a result of the injury, as Mookie Betts -- who arrived late to the stadium after dealing with a personal issue -- was summoned to bat as the tying run with two outs.

Stott went 1-for-3 with two walks, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Yankees.

That's now three straight games with at least one hit for Stott, although he's struggled mightily as a whole since the start of May. The middle infielder is slashing a woeful .203/.275/.299 with five home runs, seven doubles and 26 RBI over his last 257 plate appearances (66 outings), but he's at least stolen nine bases during this span. Stott had worked his way into Philadelphia's leadoff spot consistently from mid-April to early June, though he hasn't hit first since June 8 and is unlikely to regain that position unless he really begins to heat up at the dish.

Sosa was removed from Saturday's contest against the Yankees due to a back contusion, Charlotte Varnes of The Athletic reports.

Sosa and Brandon Marsh collided in the outfield on a popup in the bottom of the seventh inning, and Sosa was subsequently lifted after remaining down on the field for a few minutes. He was replaced at third base by Otto Kemp. Sosa is slated for further evaluation, which should give clarity about how much additional time, if any, he'll need to miss.

Gonzales is not in Saturday's starting lineup versus Arizona.

Gonzales is getting his first rest since the All-Star break after going 0-for-14 with five strikeouts over his past three contests. Liover Peguero is starting at the keystone in Gonzales' stead Saturday.

Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said Thursday that Gorman (back) could begin a rehab assignment next week, Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Gorman was placed on the 10-day injured list last weekend with a lower-back injury that first cropped up before the All-Star break. He was given a pain-killing injection Monday and has evidently responded well enough that he could be cleared for game action shortly. Because Gorman has not missed much time, his rehab assignment should be relatively brief, setting him up for an early-August return.

Koss (hamstring) began his rehab stint in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on Thursday, and he went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI in the team's 7-3 win over the ACL Diamondbacks.

Koss played four innings at second base in his first rehab game, tallying two singles. The 27-year-old infielder was placed on the 10-day injured list July 1 due to a left hamstring strain. Before that, Koss had been solid as a reserve infielder for the Giants, slashing .265/.305/.357 with 12 runs scored, 12 RBI, two home runs and two stolen bases across 108 plate appearances.

Estrada went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-5 win over the Orioles.

Estrada batted sixth in his return from a thumb sprain and helped spark a comeback with a two-run homer in the fourth inning. Through just 129 plate appearances this season, the 29-year-old is slashing .283/.310/.417 with three home runs, 20 RBI, 12 runs scored and a stolen base.

The Rockies optioned Amador to Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday.

The 22-year-old was called up by Colorado on Sunday and had a productive few days in the majors, going 5-for-9 with two doubles, three RBI and two runs in three games. Despite the demotion Friday, Amador could soon rejoin the big club with Ryan McMahon being traded to the Yankees.

The Rockies reinstated Estrada (thumb) from the 10-day injured list Friday.

The infielder hasn't seen the field since July 7 due to a thumb sprain, but he's ready to rejoin Colorado for Friday's series opener in Baltimore. Estrada has a .284/.312/.397 slash line with two homers in 29 games this season and should reclaim the starting job at second base now that he's healthy.

Donovan went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and an additional run scored in Thursday's 9-7 win against San Diego.

The second baseman put St. Louis up 4-2 in the second inning with a three-run homer, which was the Cardinals' second three-run blast in the frame. It was Donovan's ninth home run of the season, and he's now batting .300 (21-for-70) with three doubles, three homers, 11 RBI and nine runs through 18 games in July.
