Marlins' Isan Diaz: Benched in second straight
Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

Thairo Estrada 2B | BAL
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Sent to Sacramento
Estrada was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday.
Estrada has looked good in limited action this season, slashing .300/.371/.438 across 89 plate appearances at the big-league level. The Giants' roster is a crowded one, however, so he'll make way for Evan Longoria (shoulder), who returns from the 60-day injured list in a corresponding move.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Takes seat Saturday
Rojas is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Padres.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Goes deep Friday
Marte went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a win over San Diego on Friday.
Marte started in left field and occupied the second spot in the order in the contest. He crushed a 431-foot shot to left field off Blake Snell in the fifth inning for his first homer since June 2. Marte's .346 batting average this season is undoubtedly impressive, but Friday's long ball was only his fifth of the campaign. Since mashing 32 homers in 2019, he has hit only seven across 360 at-bats over his past two seasons.
