  • Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC

Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Not starting Monday

Hoerner is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.

Hoerner collided with teammate Ian Happ in Sunday's game against the Reds, though only Happ was forced to leave the game. Both players will be on the bench Monday, with David Bote starting at second base.

  • Isan Diaz 2B | DET

Marlins' Isan Diaz: Blasts first homer of 2021

Diaz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a strikeout in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Nationals.

The Marlins struggled offensively against right-hander Max Scherzer on Sunday, but Diaz put the team on the board with a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning. The 24-year-old has appeared in four games since he was called up and has gone 2-for-11 with a home run, three RBI and two runs.

  • Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC

Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Productive in loss

Hoerner went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's 13-12 loss to the Reds. He also stole a base.

Hoerner just kept on rolling, pushing his average up to .389 through 11 games. The stolen base was also his third so far, making the 23-year-old a threat at the plate and on the bases. The level of production should keep Hoerner locked into a regular role at second base, with David Bote working in a utility role off the bench.

  • Luis Guillorme 3B | HOU

Mets' Luis Guillorme: Progressing well in recovery

Guillorme (oblique) could come off the 10-day injured list when he's first eligible, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.

Guillorme was placed on the injured list due to a right oblique strain Friday, but he's progressing well early in his recovery process and appears to be in line for a short absence. Guillorme is eligible to be activated as soon as May 11, when the Mets are scheduled to take on the Orioles at home.

  • Reds' Jonathan India: Returns from injured list

India (undisclosed) was activated from the injured list Sunday.

The 24-year-old was placed on the injured list Friday with no official designation, and his quick return indicates he was on the COVID-19 IL for the health and safety protocols. India cleared said protocols and is rejoining the team for Sunday's series finale, though he'll remain out of the lineup with Nick Senzel working at second base.

Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Records three hits in win

Hoerner went 3-for-3 with a walk, a double, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Reds.

All Hoerner has done is hit since getting called up, as he's now slashing a cool .375/.487/.531 through 10 games. His performance is forcing the Cubs to keep him in the lineup, so he should be the primary second baseman, at least until he cools off at the plate. David Bote figures to occupy more of a utility role and Eric Sogard will work as a reserve as well, and both players will have limited fantasy appeal as long as Hoerner is playing regularly.

  • Mauricio Dubon 2B | ATL

Giants' Mauricio Dubon: Slugs first homer

Dubon went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Saturday in a loss to the Padres.

Dubon put the Giants on the board in the fifth inning with a solo shot to left field off Blake Snell. The homer was Dubon's first of the campaign and accounted for his seventh RBI. He is slashing a meager .192/.232/.308 overall this season but has picked it up of late, batting .333 (7-for-21) with six RBI over his past seven games.

  • Josh Rojas 3B | CHW

Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Homers in third straight game

Rojas went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and two additional runs scored in the 14-6 loss Saturday to the Rockies.

Rojas took Lucas Gilbreath deep to lead off the ninth inning. This was Rojas' third game in a row with a home run. He is heating up at the right time for a team that is dealing with many injuries. The 27-year-old struggled to start the season, but Rojas is batting .394 with four home runs, nine RBI and 11 runs over his last 11 games.

  • Luis Urias 2B | ATH

Brewers' Luis Urias: Crushes solo shot

Urias went 2-for-3 with a solo shot and two runs batted in during Saturday's win over the Dodgers.

The 23-year-old hit a solo shot off Dustin May in the second inning and knocked in Keston Hiura in the 10th inning. Urias continues to improve, and he hit an impressive .333/.438/.641 with three homers and 13 RBI over his last 15 games.

  • Josh Rojas 3B | CHW

Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Slams another home run

Rojas went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 7-2 win over the Rockies.

Rojas took Jordan Sheffield deep with one on in the eighth inning Friday. This was Rojas' third home run of the season and second in as many games. The 27-year-old, who started his third straight game in right field in place of the injured Kole Calhoun (hamstring), is taking advantage of this opportunity to flash some power, although he is still slashing just .200/.304/.383 in 69 plate appearances.
