Mets' Jeff McNeil: Idle for series finale
McNeil is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Padres, Matt Ehalt of Yahoo Sports reports.
The MLB batting-average leader (.342) will take a seat for the first time since June 23 in what is presumably a pre-planned maintenance day. Michael Conforto will slide over to fill McNeil's usual spot in right field while shortstop Amed Rosario handles table-setting duties for the Mets.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Records 22nd homer
Marte went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two RBI on Wednesday against the Orioles.
Marte took Richard Bleier deep in the sixth inning to record his 22nd home run of the season. Though he's provided plenty of pop throughout the campaign, this was his first long ball since July 12 and just his second of the month. He's found other ways to produce, however, notching eight multi-hit efforts in his past 11 starts. He's maintaining a strong .321/.375/.579 line across 437 plate appearances for the season.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: Reaches base four times Monday
Frazier went 0-for-2 with three walks and an HBP against the Cardinals on Monday.
Frazier earned Player of the Week honors prior to the All-Star break but has slumped with just five hits in his last 30 at-bats. The three walks may signal better things to come -- he'd gone 42 plate appearances without drawing a walk prior to Monday. Frazier has now batted leadoff in six of his seven starts since the Midsummer Classic. His 49 runs scored rank third on the team.

Jonathan India 2B | KC
Reds' Jonathan India: Advances to Double-A
India was promoted to Double-A Chattanooga on Monday, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.
India earns the promotion after hitting .256/.346/.410 in 87 games for High-A Daytona, good for a 125 wRC+. He added eight homers and seven steals. A big-league debut sometime in 2020 remains a possibility for the 2018 fifth-overall pick should his progress continue.

Andres Gimenez 2B | TOR
Mets' Andres Gimenez: Putting together impressive July
Gimenez went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, two RBI and a stolen base for Double-A Binghamton on Sunday.
A HBP on his right hand/wrist in early June derailed the 20-year-old's season for a couple of weeks, but Gimenez has been raking since the calendar flipped to July, slashing .321/.351/.509 in 15 games. The Mets' No. 5 fantasy prospect has only a .680 OPS on the year, but he's got the talent and the hit tool to maintain his current momentum straight through the rest of the season.

Amed Rosario SS | NYY
Mets' Amed Rosario: Clubs 11th homer
Rosario went 1-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's extra-innings loss to the Giants.
His second-inning shot gave the Mets an early 2-0 lead, but that was all the offense they could muster in the 12-inning affair. Rosario has been red hot in July, hitting .392 (20-for-51) through 14 games, but even when he's playing well, the 23-year-old finds a way to remind everyone he's far from a finished product -- he has only one steal in four attempts on the month. On the season, the shortstop is slashing .274/.315/.444 with 11 homers, 11 steals, 46 RBI and 47 runs.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Reaches base four times in loss
Marte went 2-for-3 with a double, a single, two walks and a stolen base while scoring twice in a loss to Milwaukee on Sunday.
Marte was once again the primary catalyst for Arizona's offense, walking and scoring in the first inning and crossing the plate a second time following a leadoff double in the third. He also stole his fifth base of the season after collecting a single off Josh Hader in the ninth. Marte has now reached base in all 14 games in July and sports a .389 average for the month. He has established himself as one of the most improved players in baseball this season with a .320/.374/.579 slash line, 21 home runs and 60 RBI in 387 at-bats.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: Sits versus lefty
Frazier is not in the lineup Sunday.
Frazier will take a seat with southpaw Drew Smyly set to take the mound for Philadelphia. Kevin Newman will play second base and lead off while Jung-Ho Kang will draw the start at shortstop.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Goes deep in big win
McNeil went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and a pair of runs scored in Saturday's 11-4 win over San Francisco.
McNeil extended yet another hit streak to eight games, but the long ball is what will get his fantasy owners going. The contact machine has actually found his power stroke over the last month, popping seven of his nine homers over his last 33 games (.357/.392/.593 over that span). Even with the recent power surge, McNeil's main fantasy asset continues to be his league-leading .345 batting average.
