Marlins' Isan Diaz: Nursing sore knee
Diaz has been out of the lineup the last two days at Triple-A New Orleans due to a sore knee, Craig Mish of FNTSY Sports Radio reports.
Diaz is enjoying a strong season for the Baby Cakes with a .292/.377/.549 slash line and 16 home runs in 71 games, but he's taking a few days off after tweaking his knee. The 22-year-old isn't expected to require a trip to the injured list and should return to action within the next couple days.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Remains sidelined Sunday
Marte (groin) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Marte exited Friday's game with a left groin cramp and will be held out of the lineup for the second straight game. The injury doesn't appear overly serious, but the Diamondbacks will nonetheless remain cautious with the 25-year-old. Tim Locastro will start in center field Sunday while Ildemaro Vargas starts at the keystone in the series finale.

Frazier is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.
Frazier will head to the bench for the second time in the series with lefty Joey Lucchesi on the mound for the Friars. Kevin Newman will slide over to second base while Jung Ho Kang starts at shortstop.

Marte left Friday's game with a left groin cramp. The issue doesn't appear to be particularly serious, but he'll get at least one day to rest. Ildemaro Vargas will start at second base in his absence.

McNeil will get the day off Sunday against the Cubs, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.
McNeil will sit after starting six straight contests. He had a strong performance in Saturday's blowout victory over the Cubs, going 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI. His season slash line now sits at an excellent .342/.407/.494.

Hernandez remains on the bench Saturday against Colorado.
Hernandez will sit for the second straight game. He's hitting .146/.212/.229 over his last 14 games. Max Muncy will remain the starter at second base.

Mets' Jeff McNeil: Records another multi-hit game
McNeil went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in a 5-4 victory against the Cubs on Friday.
The 27-year-old is having quite a month, as he is 24-for-67 (.358) with eight extra-base hits in June. McNeil has recorded multiple hits in each of his last four games. He is batting .341 with five home runs, 24 RBI, 32 runs and two steals in 232 at-bats this season.

He apparently dodged a more serious issue, as Marte is only being considered day-to-day. If he's unable to go Saturday, look for Ildemaro Vargas to draw the start at the keystone.

Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Bows out of starting nine
Hernandez isn't starting Friday's game against the Rockies, Alanna Rizzo of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.
Hernandez went 1-for-3 with two runs scored in Thursday's series finale with San Francisco, but he'll head to the bench Friday evening. Max Muncy shifts over to the keystone, allowing for Matt Beaty to draw the start at first base.
