Forsythe is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mets, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Forsythe has started four of six games and is 3-for-13 with a home run since joining the Marlins, but he'll head to the bench Sunday. The veteran infielder has already seen time at first base, second base and designated hitter with Miami still missing much of their Opening Day roster.

Forsythe went 1-for-2 with two walks and a solo home run in Saturday's 8-4 loss to the Mets.

Forsythe has been a regular in the Marlins' lineup since they resumed play, filling in at first base, second base and DH in the last three days. He will continue to help out around the diamond while batting near the bottom of the order with a large portion of the team's Opening Day roster currently unavailable.

Frazier went 2-for-6 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Friday's 17-13 extra-innings loss to the Tigers.

His second homer of the season couldn't have been more timely -- with the Bucs down to their final strike, Frazier slammed a fastball from Tigers closer Joe Jimenez over the wall deep in right-center field to tie the score. This was Frazier's first multi-hit performance of the season, however, and through 13 games he's slashing just .170/.241/.302.

Hernandez is not in the lineup Friday against the Giants, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Hernandez started each of the Dodgers' first five games but has since started just four of the last nine. Chris Taylor will be the second baseman Friday.

Rosario (quadriceps) will bat ninth as the shortstop in Friday's game against Miami.

Rosario left Monday's game against Atlanta with a tight left quad and sat out the Mets' following two games, but he's been cleared to play Friday. He'll be looking to improve on a slow start to the season which has seen him post a .610 OPS through his first 10 games.

McNeil (back) will bat second and play left field Friday against the Marlins.

McNeil was scratched Monday with lower-back tightness and later diagnosed with an intercostal strain. He's good to go now after a three-game absence and will look to build upon a strong start to the season that saw him hit .343 through his first 10 games.

Mathias went 2-for-5 with two RBI in Thursday's win over the White Sox.

Mathias made his MLB debut on Aug. 5 -- although he didn't register a plate appearance in that contest -- but has recorded hits in his first two games in the lineup. That's unlikely to continue over a prolonged period of time, but the second baseman has gone 3-for-8 with two RBI and a run scored in his first two games as a starter.

Dubon went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run Thursday against the Rockies.

Dubon didn't strike until late in the game, clubbing his home run in the seventh inning to end Kyle Freeland's outing on a sour note. It was his first home run of the campaign. He added a base knock in the final frame to record his third multi-hit effort of the season. Through 30 plate appearances, Dubon has managed a .276/.300/.414 line, though he has struck out nine times and walked only once.

Brewers manager Craig Counsell said Thursday that Urias (COVID-19) is getting close to a return from the injured list, but the infielder is likely about a week away from rejoining the big club, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Counsell noted that position players like Urias require about three weeks of training to get ready for game action, and the 23-year-old has been working out at the team's alternate site in Appleton for about two weeks after he was withheld from all of summer camp following a positive COVID-19 test. Though Urias is healthy again and has nearly completed his hitting progression, he won't necessarily be a lock to join the big club as a utility man once he's deemed ready to go. Milwaukee currently has Brock Holt, Jedd Gyorko, Mark Mathias and Eric Sogard as players on the 28-man roster who are capable of playing all over the infield.

According to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, Lux's absence from the 30-man roster is entirely based on his lack of readiness for game action, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports. "First of all, there is no conspiracy theory of holding Gavin Lux down, for any other reason besides that we don't feel he's ready right now," Roberts stated Wednesday.

Speculation about service-time considerations tends to pop up when top prospects who have proven themselves in the minors are kept out of the big leagues at the start of the season. The skepticism is arguably more intense with Lux due to the fact that he played a key role on the major-league squad late last season and into the playoffs, leading many to assume that he would be anointed the Dodgers' everyday second baseman for the 2020 campaign. However, Lux missed the beginning of summer camp for undisclosed reasons and didn't start any of the team's three exhibition contests, leading to his move to the Dodgers' alternate training site before the start of the regular season. There's little doubt that Lux will return to the big-league squad at some point in 2020, though substantial playing time is not a given with veteran utilitymen Chris Taylor and Enrique Hernandez both holding their own to start the campaign.
