    The righty-hitting Matt Duffy will lead off for a second game in a row against a right-hander with Tyler Wade also drawing the start. Rengifo has cooled off a little, hitting .150 with one home run over his last five games.

    India (hamstring) will get an MRI on Monday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

    This could be the MRI that clears India to head out on a rehab assignment, as he was approximately two weeks away from a rehab assignment May 24. He has been sidelined since April 30.

    Frazier heads to the bench with lefty Martin Perez on the mound for Texas. Abraham Toro is starting at second base and hitting seventh.

    Urias (thumb) is not in Sunday's lineup against the Padres.

    Urias will be held out again as he struggles to grip the baseball due to a swollen thumb. The Brewers have an off day Monday, so perhaps the extra day will help him get right physically. Pablo Reyes is starting at shortstop Sunday.

    Rangers' Andy Ibanez: Sent to Triple-A

    Ibanez was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.

    This move doesn't come as a major surprise, as Ibanez had starting losing out on playing time and had hit .161 with zero home runs in his last 20 games. Steele Walker's contract was purchased in a corresponding move.

  • Reds' Brandon Drury: Strong effort in Saturday's loss

    Drury went 2-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run, two additional runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 10-8 loss to the Nationals.

    The steal was his first of the year but the homer was his ninth, as Drury took Nats closer Tanner Rainey deep in the ninth inning. The veteran utility player has three multi-hit performances in the last four games, but on the season Drury is slashing a less electric .252/.317/.479 slash line with 27 RBI and 31 runs through 44 contests.

    Guardians' Andres Gimenez: Pops sixth homer

    Gimenez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Orioles.

    His second-inning blast off Tyler Wells gave the Guardians a 2-1 lead, but by the bottom of the third they fell behind for good. Gimenez has hit safely in seven straight games, batting .385 (10-for-26) over that stretch to boost his slash line on the season up to .308/.331/.526 with a career-high six homers and 26 RBI, plus four steals and 18 runs, through 41 contests.
