Miller went 2-for-5 with a double and a stolen base in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Dodgers.

Miller's first steal of the season came in the seventh inning. The infielder isn't a big threat to run, as he never had more than five stolen bases in a minor-league season and nabbed only two thefts in the majors in 2021. He's started to get back on track lately, going 9-for-31 (.290) with five doubles, four RBI and three runs scored in his last eight contests. Overall, the 25-year-old has a .262/.316/.416 slash line with four home runs, 31 RBI, 33 runs scored and 19 doubles in 228 plate appearances. Miller continues to pick up most of his playing time at first base, second base and designated hitter as manager Terry Francona finds a place for him in the lineup more often than not.

Rojas went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Twins.

Rojas got aboard with a single in the sixth inning, stole second and scored on a Buddy Kennedy grand slam. While he's gone 3-for-20 (.150) with six strikeouts in his last five games, Rojas has added two of his five steals this season in that span. The versatile 27-year-old has a .254/.329/.388 slash line with four home runs, 16 RBI, 21 runs scored, four doubles and a triple. He's primarily played at third base lately, taking on an everyday role.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora said that Hernandez (hip) could be ready to return from the 10-day injured list Wednesday or Thursday, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

Cora made his comments on Hernandez after the 30-year-old took live batting practice against rehabbing pitcher Josh Taylor (back) on Saturday in addition to doing some sprinting on the bases and shagging flyballs. The skipper indicated that Hernandez is expected to report to Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday for a rehab assignment, but he may need just one game in the minors before rejoining the parent club.

Torres went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Sunday's 10-9 loss to Toronto.

Torres got started with a solo blast off of Yusei Kikuchi in the second inning. He later added a two-run double in the fifth. Torres has produced three straight multi-hit games, raising his season slash line to .267/.314/.524 with 26 extra-base hits. Since the start of June, he's 16-for-50 (.320) with four home runs in 15 appearances.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo expects Marte (hamstring) to be available during the team's three-game series in San Diego that begins Monday, Theo Mackie of the Arizona Republic reports.

Marte was held out of the weekend series against the Twins due to a Grade 1 left hamstring strain. The Diamondbacks downplayed the injury, which Lovullo described it as "very, very mild." The club initially didn't request an MRI but eventually did when the second baseman didn't respond as quickly as hoped. Jake Hager started at second base Friday while Buddy Kennedy started Saturday and Sunday.

Castro was removed from Sunday's game against the Rangers due to calf tightness, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Castro was hit by a pitch just above his knee during Sunday's matchup, and he was ultimately removed from the game after experiencing calf tightness. Prior to his departure, he went 0-for-2 with two runs. Manager A.J. Hinch said after the game that Castro is considered day-to-day prior to Monday's series opener against Boston.

Marte (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Marte's Grade 1 left hamstring strain hasn't forced him to the 10-day injured list yet, but he'll miss a third straight game in any event. Buddy Kennedy will draw the start at second base in place of Marte, who can be viewed as day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener in San Diego.

The Angels optioned Mayfield to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

Mayfield became the odd man out for the Angels with the team needing to open up a spot on the 26-man active roster for left-hander Kenny Rosenberg, who was recalled from Salt Lake to start Sunday's series finale in Seattle. During his two-day stay with the Halos, Mayfield went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts.

Lopez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Lopez will take a seat for the series finale after he went 4-for-13 with two runs while starting in each of the Royals' previous four games. Whit Merrifield will pick up the start at the keystone while Emmanuel Rivera starts at third base, the position where Lopez has been seeing more work of late as he transitions into more of a utility role for Kansas City.

The Rockies optioned Trejo to Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Trejo was called up from Triple-A on Friday, one day after fellow utility man Garrett Hampson (illness) was moved to the COVID-19-related injured list. With the Rockies activating Hampson ahead of Sunday's series finale with the Padres after he cleared all protocols, Trejo's brief run with the big club will come to an end.
