With Jeimer Candelario (shoulder) potentially headed to the injured list Tuesday, per Chris McCosky of The Detroit News, Castro could see more regular time at third base.

Castro has been a valuable utility player for the Tigers this season with a .286/.303/.476 slash line across 34 games while appearing at every position except for catcher and right field, but the team may need him to settle in a bit more at the hot corner if Candelario has to miss time. Kody Clemens is also an option to see more time at third in the short term if needed.

Drury went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored in Monday's 7-0 win over Arizona.

Drury set the tone early with his solo shot off of Madison Bumgarner in the first inning. He then singled and scored again in the seventh. The 29-year-old has produced five multi-hit efforts in his last six games, raising his season slash line to .263/.324/.497. Drury is hitting .279 with seven long balls and 28 runs scored since the start of May.

Hernandez isn't starting Monday's game against the Angels, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Hernandez is in the midst of a modest four-game hitting streak, collecting one double, two walks and one run scored over that stretch. He'll get a breather Monday, giving Christian Arroyo a chance to start in left field while Jackie Bradley shifts to center.

Guillorme will sit Monday against the Padres.

Guillorme has been in the lineup on a more regular basis recently, starting eight of the last nine games prior to Monday's contest. He hit .379/.486/.414 over that stretch but will rest this time around, with Jeff McNeil starting at second base.

India (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

India underwent an MRI on Monday and apparently received encouraging results, as he's been cleared to return to game action with the Triple-A club. The 25-year-old hasn't played since April 30, so he'll require several rehab games before he's reinstated from the 10-day injured list. However, the Reds are hopeful that India will rejoin the major-league club in time for the team's upcoming homestead against the Brewers, which begins June 17, per C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic. He should reclaim his role as the Reds' everyday second baseman once he's activated since he slashed .295/.311/.341 with two doubles, five runs and three RBI over 11 major-league games prior to his absence.

Kemp entered Sunday's loss to the Red Sox as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning and finished the game at second base, going 1-for-1 with a walk.

The veteran hit safely for the fourth time in six games in his cameo appearance Sunday. Kemp's season slash line sits at an unsightly .238/.320/.285, but he's trending in the right direction with a .353 average and .436 on-base percentage over the 39 plate appearances he's logged in the last 11 games.

Westburg was elevated to Triple-A Norfolk on Monday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Westburg will make his way to Norfolk after batting .247 with nine homers, 32 RBI, 32 runs and three stolen bases over 182 at-bats in 47 games with Double-A Bowie this year. The shortstop moves one step closer to the major leagues, getting promoted with fellow infielder Gunnar Henderson on Monday.

Haggerty went 2-for-3 in an extra-inning win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Haggerty drew the start in left field and made some noise out of the bottom of the order with his first two hits of the season. The utility man has only logged 10 plate appearances overall since being called up from Triple-A Tacoma on May 22, but he figures to remain on the big-league roster for the time being with Kyle Lewis (concussion) and Mitch Haniger (ankle) both sidelined.

Gimenez went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and two strikeouts in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Orioles.

Gimenez took Orioles starter Dean Kremer deep in the first inning, and the Guardians were able to make it stand for the rest of the contest. The infielder has homered in three of his last five games, driving in eight runs and scoring five times in that span. He's delivered a fairly well-rounded game in 2022, slashing .307/.429/.540 with seven homers, 29 RBI, 19 runs scored, four stolen bases, two triples and seven doubles in 42 contests. Gimenez will likely still sit out against some left-handed pitchers, but he's approaching a near-everyday role in the middle of Cleveland's infield.

Rodgers went 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two total runs scored in Sunday's 8-7 loss to Atlanta.

Rodgers delivered a two-run double in the first inning and a solo shot in the fifth, both off Atlanta starter Charlie Morton. This was Rodgers' second three-hit game in June after a three-homer effort in the nightcap of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Marlins. The infielder is up to a .266/.316/.428 slash line with six homers, 26 RBI, 28 runs scored and 10 doubles through 187 plate appearances overall.
