The Angels recalled Wong from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

He'll be designated as the Angels' 27th man for the 2021 MLB Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pa. Wong is on the bench for the contest and will likely be headed back to Triple-A after Sunday's game is completed.

Lux remains out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Lux picked up a start at third base and second base in his first two games after returning Tuesday from the 10-day injured list, but he'll be on the bench for a fourth straight contest Sunday. The 23-year-old's path to a regular role will likely become further blocked by the end of next week, when Chris Taylor is expected to settle in ahead of Lux as the Dodgers' top utility man upon Mookie Betts' (hip) return from the 10-day injured list.

McNeil is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

With lefty David Price on the hill for the Dodgers, Mets manager Luis Rojas will give three of the team's lefty-hitting regulars -- McNeil, Dominic Smith and Michael Conforto -- the day off. J.D. Davis will step in at third base, the position McNeil is expected to see most of his action at the rest of the season with second baseman Javier Baez (back) returning from the injured list Sunday and shortstop Francisco Lindor (oblique) likely to return as early as Tuesday.

Andrus is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Since returning from the paternity list Tuesday, Andrus started in each of Oakland's last five games, going 3-for-16 with a triple, a stolen base and two runs. He'll take a seat for the series finale, affording Josh Harrison a turn at shortstop.

Kemp went 1-for-2 with a double in a loss to the Giants on Saturday.

Kemp drew the start at the keystone and contributed his first extra-base hit since July 27. The 29-year-old continues to see fairly consistent playing time against right-handed pitching at second base and left field, and Saturday's double brought him within two extra-base hits of the career-high 21 he's laced in two other seasons.

Lowe went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a pair of RBI and a run Saturday in the Rays' 8-4 win over the White Sox.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed a prolific power binge over the past week, notching seven extra-base hits (three home runs, four doubles) in his last six contests. The red-hot Lowe will stick in the starting nine for Sunday's series finale, manning second base and batting leadoff.

Espinal is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

After starting in nine of the past 10 games while reaching base at a .403 clip, Espinal appears to have at least temporarily locked down a near-everyday role at third base. Kevin Smith will get a nod at the hot corner in place of a resting Espinal, who should retain a spot atop the depth chart until Cavan Biggio (back) returns from the injured list.

Short is starting at shortstop and batting ninth in Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.

The Tigers are facing the left-handed Steven Matz, marking their fifth straight game against a lefty starter, so Harold Castro will hit the bench and Short picks up the start. It looks like the two players are forming a platoon, with Castro on the strong side despite sitting out three of the last five contests. Short is slashing just .146/.245/.308 in 47 games this year, so his fantasy value is limited even when he's in the lineup.

Castro is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.

The Tigers are facing a left-handed starter (Steven Matz) for the fifth game in a row, with Castro having now sat on three occasions. The lefty-hitting Castro still looks to be occupying the strong side of a platoon at the position with Zack Short, who picks up his fourth consecutive start Sunday.

India is on the bench for Sunday's game against the Marlins, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

The rookie gets a rare day off after hitting .262 with three doubles, three home runs and eight RBI in his last 10 games. Jose Barrero is playing second base and batting seventh Sunday.
