Rojas was removed from Wednesday's game against the Pirates in the eighth inning with what looked to be a finger injury, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

The 27-year-old appeared to dislocate a finger on his left hand while diving into second base. Rojas, who went 2-for-4 with a run, a walk and a stolen base, was replaced at second base by Andrew Young. Details about his condition should become available following the game.

Arraez still has soreness and swelling in his right knee, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Manager Rocco Baldelli said the team will decide Thursday whether Arraez requires a trip to the injured list. The 24-year-old's absence, however long it may be, is especially damaging to the Twins' lineup and outfield depth now that Alex Kirilloff (wrist) is expected to miss eight weeks.

Arraez (knee) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox.

Arraez will be forced to the bench after a sore right knee prompted his early exit from Tuesday's 9-5 loss. Trevor Larnach will shift over from right field to cover left field in place of Arraez.

Ibanez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Detroit.

Ibanez will take a seat after he served as the Rangers' designated hitter in Tuesday's 4-1 loss, finishing the day with an RBI double across three at-bats. He appears to be stuck in part-time role, with most of his future starts likely to come against left-handed pitching.

Brujan was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Wednesday, Steve Carney of Sports Radio 620 WDAE reports.

Brujan appeared in 10 games with the major-league club after he was called up July 7, but he hit just .077 with three runs, two RBI, a stolen base and eight strikeouts. He should reclaim an everyday role in the minors and will have a chance to right the ship before a potential return to the big-league roster at some point during the second half of the season.

McNeil exited Wednesday's game against the Reds with an apparent injury, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

The nature of McNeil's injury isn't yet clear, but he appeared to experience some discomfort in the top of the eighth inning and was able to walk off the field under his own power afterward. The 29-year-old went 1-for-4 with a run and a walk prior to his departure, and whether he'll be able to return for Friday's series opener against the Blue Jays remains to be seen.

Acuna has hit .377 with two homers, 13 steals, 14 RBI, 18 runs and a 13:19 BB:K across his last 21 games for Low-A Down East.

Ronald Acuna's little brother got off to a horribly slow start this year, hitting just .165/.280/.291 in May, but he's improved by leaps and bounds since, lifting his season line to .284/.382/.432 with six homers and 24 steals. He's still just 19 and not fully developed physically, so it's not terribly surprising that Acuna's power hasn't shown up yet, but there's a lot to like about his speed and on-base ability. Having mastered Low-A at this point, it seems likely that Acuna will get promoted to High-A before the summer's out.

Brujan will start at second base and bat second Wednesday against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Brujan lacks a clear path to an everyday role due to the bevy of talent in the infield and outfield, but his defensive versatility has helped him capture a part-time gig since getting the call back from Triple-A Durham on July 9. He'll pick up his third start in four games in the series finale after going 1-for-4 with two runs and an RBI in Tuesday's 9-3 win.

Polanco went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 9-5 loss to the White Sox.

Polanco's lone hit of the night came at an opportune time, as he launched a go-ahead two-run blast in the eighth to put the Twins up 5-4. The homer would ultimately go for naught after the bullpen gave back the lead in the bottom half of the frame. The 27-year-old has rattled off at least one base knock in eight of his last 10 games and has three homers and three multi-hit efforts over that span too. For the year, he's slashing .255/.319/.433 with 13 homers, 46 RBI, 50 runs scored, eight steals and a 29:55 BB:K over 357 plate appearances.

Altuve went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs and a walk in Tuesday's 9-3 win over Cleveland.

Altuve went deep in each of his first two at-bats. He led off both the bottom half of the first and third inning with a home run against Triston McKenzie but was relatively quiet the rest of the evening. The 31-year-old has gone a bit cold at the dish this month, slashing .220/.270/.492 with five homers, 14 RBI, nine runs scored, a steal and a 4:10 BB:K over 14 games. Tuesday was just his second multi-hit performance over the last 20 games, but also his second multi-homer tally of the year. Overall, Altuve is slashing .275/.356/.500 with 22 homers, 57 RBI, 68 runs scored, four steals and a 44:60 BB:K over 390 plate appearances. Altuve's lack of activity on the basepaths has certainly not helped his value. He consistently stole 30-plus bases from 2012 to 2017, but he hasn't exceeded 17 in a season since and is on track for under 10 for a third straight year.
