Marte went 4-for-6 with two doubles and a run scored in Thursday's 6-4 loss to the Rockies.

Marte may be the hottest hitter in baseball right now. He's recorded multiple hits in five straight games, going 15-for-23 with three doubles, three home runs and seven runs scored. Marte is cruising toward a potential All-Star bid with a team-high .932 OPS and 3.4 WAR.

Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a pair of stolen bases and scored twice in Thursday's victory over San Francisco.

Speed is not usually Hernandez's forte -- he had stolen only eight bases in 581 career games coming into Thursday -- but he picked the pocket of Madison Bumgarner twice in the first inning after being hit by a pitch to lead off the game and proceeded to score the game's first run on a Max Muncy single. He later came around to score the Dodgers' sixth run after a single in the fourth inning -- only his 10th hit in 59 at-bats in June. For the season, Hernandez is slashing a meager .210/.282/.382, though he has contributed in the power department with 11 home runs and 37 RBI.

Torres went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and two runs scored Thursday against the Astros.

Torres took Framber Valdez deep in the fourth inning to record his 17th homer of the season. It was his second long ball in as many days, accounting for seven RBI and four runs scored in that span. He's maintained an impressive .287/.347/.535 line across 289 plate appearances for the season.

Rengifo went 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored Thursday against the Blue Jays.

Rengifo slugged a two-run homer to left field in the second inning, and he cut his team's deficit to one in the sixth by singling home a run, his third RBI of the night. The 22-year-old has now registered two or more hits in each of his last three contests, and he's reached base safely in five straight.

Lux went 3-for-4 with two runs scored Wednesday in Double-A Tulsa's 6-2 win over Frisco.

The Dodgers are missing their everyday shortstop in Corey Seager (hamstring), but Chris Taylor makes for an excellent insurance option. Taylor's presence along with a few other quality utility types on the 40-man roster likely minimizes Lux's potential to reach the majors in 2019, but that won't prevent the 21-year-old from solidifying his case as the organization's top position prospect. After his third multi-hit effort in four starts, Lux is slashing .317/.377/.533 with 13 home runs and seven steals across 276 plate appearances in the Texas League.

Rodgers was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday, Jenny Cavnar of AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain reports.

Trevor Story (thumb) was sent to the injured list Thursday, allowing Rodgers to rejoin the Rockies just five days after being optioned back to the minors. The 22-year-old Rodgers appeared in 21 games during his first stint with the big club, slashing .246/.300/.277 with seven RBI and a 31.4 percent strikeout rate. Rodgers will likely fill in for the injured Story, though Pat Valaika is starting at shortstop Thursday.

Semien went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and a run in a win over the Orioles on Wednesday.

Semien's outstanding June continued Wednesday, with the shortstop generating his sixth multi-hit effort of the month. The veteran now has a 16-game hitting streak and has compiled 21 of his 29 extra-base hits on the season while operating out of the leadoff spot.

The Cardinals promoted Gorman from Low-A Peoria to High-A Palm Beach on Thursday, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

The 19-year-old only batted .241 and struck out in 28 percent of his plate appearances in his 67 games with Peoria, but his strong plate discipline (11.7 percent walk rate) and premium pop (27 extra-base hits) were enough to earn him a promotion to the Florida State League. Gorman's contact woes figure to persist as he faces more advanced pitching, but his 70-grade power is a big enough selling point to make him an attractive building block in dynasty formats.

McNeil went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's loss to Atlanta.

Hitting leadoff and starting at second base with Robinson Cano on the bench -- his 20th game played at the keystone, locking in 2020 eligibility at the position in most formats -- McNeil collected his fifth multi-hit performance in his last nine games. The 27-year-old is now slashing .345/.367/.534 with two homers, two steals, six RBI and 10 runs through 14 contests in June.

Chavis went 2-for-5 with two RBI in Wednesday's 9-4 win over the Twins.

Chavis has emerged from his first taste of adversity at the MLB level and has hit safely in nine straight games, going 13-for-41 (.317) with two home runs, six RBI and seven runs scored during that stretch. His streak has been timely as Boston's offense overall has improved while the team has won seven of its last eight games. After getting his MLB career off to a blazing start, the infielder was mired in a 20-game slump in which he batted just .181. He'll continue to get at-bats as the starting first baseman but could eventually slot in as the primary second baseman when Mitch Moreland (quadriceps) and Steve Pearce (back) return.
