Andrus went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run in Monday's 7-6 loss to the Blue Jays.

Andrus has been stuck in a minor power outage in June with only three extra-base hits (and no home runs) in 14 games, but thanks to his stellar first two months of the season, he's still sitting on a career-best .442 slugging percentage. Even if Andrus fails to recover the power production he displayed earlier this season, he'll be able to offset that deficiency with the above-average contributions he provides in batting average, runs and stolen bases.

Solarte went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double during Monday's loss to the Cubs.

Solarte entered the game with an impressive 1.017 OPS, seven homers, 19 RBI and 13 runs through his previous 25 games, and he only improved on those marks with Monday's strong showing. While locked in at the dish, he's a serviceable fantasy asset in the majority of fantasy settings, but just don't expect Solarte to maintain his current pace over the long haul.

Semien (wrist) is scheduled to start a rehab assignment with High-A Stockton on Friday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Semien was able to get through batting practice over the weekend without a hitch, clearing the way for him to return to game action later in the week. Seeing as the 26-year-old has been sidelined for most of the season, he'll likely need at least a few rehab games before rejoining the Athletics. If he continues to progress without any setbacks, Semien could return to the majors sometime in early July.

Forsythe is not in the lineup Monday against the Mets.

Despite going 2-for-5 with a two-run homer in Sunday's win over the Reds, Forysthe will head to the bench for a breather. Chase Utley will step in at second base for the contest.

Torres was diagnosed Monday with a torn UCL in his left elbow after meeting with a physician and will require season-ending Tommy John surgery.

It's a major blow for the Yankees' top prospect, who was expected to provide the big club with a lift in the second half of the season, when he likely would have been called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Instead, Torres' big-league debut will have to wait until 2018, as he'll now turn his attention to healing up before spring training arrives. With Torres out of the picture for the rest of the season, Chase Headley will gain some extra security in his role as the team's everyday third baseman. The 20-year-old was hitting .309/.406/.457 in 96 plate appearances since being promoted from Double-A Trenton to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in late May.

Drury went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Reds in 10 innings.

Drury extended his hitting streak to a season-best eight games with the two knocks. Seven of Drury's 12 hits over that span have gone for extra bases -- including three home runs -- so his ongoing success at the plate hasn't merely been a byproduct of running a high BABIP. With three games at Coors Field on the docket next for the Diamondbacks, Drury looks like a strong lineup option in all formats this week.

Hernandez went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and walks in Sunday's 8-7 win over the Reds.

In addition to his offensive exploits, Hernandez made the defensive play of the game in the eighth inning, robbing Joey Votto of a potential extra-base hit off the left-field wall with the tying and go-ahead runs on base. Manager Dave Roberts will likely make a concerted effort to get Hernandez's bat in the lineup against left-handed pitching as often as possible, but it will be difficult for the utility man to carve out a larger role beyond that due to the existing depth in the infield and outfield.

Forsythe's two-run bomb was a monster shot, traveling 442 feet and landing in the second deck in left field. While it comes with the caveat that it was served up by one of the more homer-prone pitchers in the league in Bronson Arroyo, Forsythe and fantasy owners certainly won't complain after the infielder had looked lost at the plate since returning from the disabled list in late May. Even with the two-hit performance, Forsythe's average is still sitting at .200, so he'll need to curb his career-worst 30.9 percent strikeout rate and start spraying out line drives with regularity to quell any lingering concerns about his rest-of-season outlook.

Arroyo (wrist) was placed on the 7-day disabled list at Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

It sounds like Arroyo avoided structural damage to the wrist after he was hit by a pitch Wednesday, but since he's still feeling sore, Sacramento elected to move him to the DL to create some more roster flexibility. Arroyo served as the Giants' primary third baseman for much of May when injuries gutted the roster, but with the big club enjoying better health among its regular infield options the last few weeks, a return to the majors doesn't seem imminent for the 22-year-old.

Torres (elbow) was placed on the 7-day disabled list at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday, Conor Foley of The Scranton Times-Tribune reports.

Torres was able to avoid structural damage to his elbow after X-rays following Saturday's game determined he had suffered a hyperextension, but the Yankees have yet to release a timetable for his return beyond ruling him out for at least the next week. The injury could very well delay any promotion of the Yankees' top prospect until after the All-Star break, affording incumbent third baseman Chase Headley some time to get dialed in at the plate and build up some job security. Torres, 20, is hitting .309/.406/.457 in International League play since being promoted from Double-A Trenton just under a month ago.
