  • Luis Urias 2B | ATH

Red Sox's Luis Urias: Moves to bench Tuesday

Urias is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Astros.

After reaching base in three of his five plate appearances in Monday's 13-5 loss to Houston, Urias will give way to David Hamilton at second base Tuesday. While Pablo Reyes (elbow) is on the shelf, Urias is still likely to see the bulk of the starts at the keystone.

  • Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Out of lineup again Tuesday

Westburg is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the White Sox, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

It marks the second straight game and third time in the last four contests that Westburg is not starting. Instead, it will be Adam Frazier at second base and Ramon Urias at third base for the Orioles.

  • Bryson Stott 2B | PHI

Phillies' Bryson Stott: Sitting against lefty

Stott is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Angels.

Rodolfo Castro will get a rare start at second base as the Phillies take on left-hander Tyler Anderson. The left-handed-hitting Stott went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Monday's series opener versus the Angels, though he managed to tally his 25th stolen base of the season in what was a 6-4 victory for Philly.

  • Angels' Brandon Drury: Three hits in loss

Drury went 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run scored in Monday's 6-4 loss against Philadelphia.

Drury delivered three base hits Monday, including a two-run single in the fourth inning to give the Angels a short-lived 3-1 lead. Over his last eight games, the 31-year-old infielder is batting .324 (11-for-34) with three home runs, 11 RBI and five runs.

  • Gleyber Torres 2B | DET

Yankees' Gleyber Torres: Blasts 21st homer

Torres went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and a solo home run in Monday's victory over the Tigers.

The 26-year-old infielder put New York on the board with a run-scoring double that chased Tigers' starter Reese Olson from the game with one out in the fifth inning. Torres then extended the lead to 3-0 with his seventh-inning solo shot, the second of back-to-back homers for the Yankees. He has been swinging a hot bat in the month of August, posting a .320 average with five home runs, seven doubles, 11 RBI, 13 runs and four steals across 97 at-bats.

  • Jose Altuve 2B | HOU

Astros' Jose Altuve: Records first cycle of career

Altuve hit for the cycle Monday, finishing 4-for-6 with a home run, a triple, a double, four RBI and four runs scored in a 13-5 win over Boston.

After recording the 2,000th hit of his career earlier this month, Altuve accomplished another milestone by becoming the first Astros player in 10 years to hit for the cycle. His two-run home run in the eighth inning snapped a 16-game drought, but he remained productive amid the power outage by hitting .339 during that stretch. Since returning from the injured list July 26, Altuve has gone 46-for-121 (.380 average) and is now slashing .322/.415/.529 through 282 plate appearances on the season.

  • Jorge Polanco 1B | NYM

Twins' Jorge Polanco: Homers, drives in three

Polanco went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs scored in Monday's win against the Guardians.

Polanco doubled and scored in the second inning before ripping a three-run shot in the fourth. He's knocked four homers while going 18-for-54 (.333) over his last 15 games. On the year, he owns a .785 OPS with 23 extra-base hits through 58 games.

  • Rockies' Brendan Rodgers: Late scratch due to illness

Rodgers has been scratched from Monday's starting lineup against Atlanta due to illness, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.

Rodgers was expected to bat sixth and man the keystone, but he'll now be considered day-to-day due to an illness. Harold Castro will play second base and bat seventh in Rodgers' place.

  • Ozzie Albies 2B | ATL

Braves' Ozzie Albies: Batting second in return

Albies (hamstring) will start at second base and bat second in Monday's game against the Rockies.

Albies was activated from the 10-day injured list earlier Monday after missing two weeks with a strained left hamstring. He'll step back right into an everyday role in the middle infield and will get a favorable setup this week as Atlanta opens a three-game series in hitter-friendly Coors Field.

  • Nicky Lopez 3B | CHC

Braves' Nicky Lopez: Back on bench in Albies' return

Lopez is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rockies.

After three consecutive starts at the keystone, Lopez will shift back to the bench for Monday's series opener. He'll likely find himself in a lightly-used utility role moving forward after Atlanta brought Ozzie Albies (hamstring) back from the 10-day injured list Monday.
