Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Taking seat Sunday
Lewis is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Detroit.
Lewis has gone 3-for-9 with a double and a homer in two games since being reinstated from the injured list Friday, and he'll receive a breather for Sunday's series finale. The 25-year-old has played in just 26 contests this year due to injuries, and manager Rocco Baldelli may attempt to keep him fresh with regular days off down the stretch. Jose Miranda will handle the hot corner Sunday while Ryan Jeffers rests his legs as the designated hitter.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Bangs walk-off homer
Bregman went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run in Saturday's 7-6 win against the Dodgers.
Bregman was hitless through four at-bats when he came to the plate in the top of the ninth inning, but he made the most of his final plate appearance by swatting a walk-off solo blast to left field. The homer was the second in as many days for the third baseman and extended his modest hitting streak to five games. Bregman has been quite productive for most of July, as he's reached base safely in 18 of his past 19 contests and is batting .293 with five homers, 14 RBI, 14 runs and a stolen base over that span.

Oswaldo Cabrera 3B | NYY
Yankees' Oswaldo Cabrera: Clubs homer in win
Cabrera went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 11-8 extra-inning win over the Red Sox.
Cabrera went deep in the second inning for the Yankees' third homer of the game. While he came up short of a fourth multi-hit effort in five games, the homer was Cabrera's first since June 9. The 25-year-old is slashing .246/.290/.352 with six homers, 30 RBI, 35 runs scored and three stolen bases over 256 plate appearances while picking up playing time at second base and third base. With the Yankees' trade for Jazz Chisholm on Saturday, Cabrera's likely to see a dip in usage, though he could fend that off by staying warm at the plate.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Smacks 11th home run
Lewis went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Saturday's loss to the Tigers.
Lewis was reinstated from the injured list Friday, and it took him six at-bats to hit another long ball. He now has 11 home runs in 26 games this season and 26 homers in 84 games dating back to last season. The 25-year-old's struggles staying on the field are well documented, but when he's active, he's a must-start. Lewis has homered every 12 at-bats over the last two seasons, which only trails Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani in that span among players with a minimum of 200 at-bats.

Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Yankees' Jon Berti: Running, but not back to full speed
Berti (calf) ran and performed other baseball activities Friday, but he's not yet back up to full speed, per MLB.com.
Berti has been on the shelf with a left calf strain since late May. He resumed running at approximately 95 percent prior to the All-Star break, then had a setback and was given a PRP injection. Though he's back to being able to run, Berti isn't likely to begin a minor-league rehab assignment until he's up to full speed. Yankees manager Aaron Boone said July 22 that it's "going to be a little bit of time" before Berti is ready to return, though a clear timeline hasn't been shared.

Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Sitting again Saturday
LeMahieu is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Red Sox.
