Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Exits game with hamstring injury
Rendon departed Saturday's game in Cincinnati with a hamstring injury, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Rendon led off the game with an infield single but then immediately had to be lifted for a pinch runner. It's unclear at this point whether an MRI will be required, but the Angels should offer more clarity on his injury situation after the game. While he hasn't hit for much power at all, Rendon has been productive over the last couple weeks, coming into action Saturday hitting .381/.438/.429 over his last 10 games.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Resumes baseball activity
Lewis (quad) has resumed baseball activity and is aiming to begin a running progression next week, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
Lewis hit off a tee and stood in during a few bullpen sessions Saturday. Head trainer Nick Paparesta said he is pleased by the progress the 24-year-old infielder has made since straining his right quad on Opening Day, though he noted that Lewis still has a ways to go before the Twins can start thinking about a return.

Maikel Garcia 3B | KC
Royals' Maikel Garcia: Picks up fourth steal
Garcia went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in Friday's 9-4 win over the Orioles.
Garcia was ice cold entering Friday, having gone 0-for-20 over his previous five games with six strikeouts in that span. The third baseman is batting just .167 with four steals, three home runs, 12 RBI and seven runs scored over 85 plate appearances. The overall success of the rest of the roster has covered Garcia's recent struggles, which haven't cost him playing time yet.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Remains out Saturday
Devers (knee) isn't in Boston's lineup for Saturday's game against the Pirates, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republicanreports.
Devers will sit for the third straight game after being diagnosed with a bone bruise in his left knee Thursday. There has been no indication that the 27-year-old is moving toward a stay on the injured list, though his chances of playing this weekend against Pittsburgh are dwindling. Bobby Dalbec will draw another start at third base with Devers out.

Gio Urshela 3B | MIN
Tigers' Gio Urshela: Placed on IL
The Tigers placed Urshela on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a right hamstring strain.
Urshela suffered the injury while running to first base during Friday's win and had to be removed from the game in the second inning. Matt Vierling will start at third base Saturday and could be in line to do so regularly while Urshela is out, though the newly promoted Buddy Kennedy may also see a few starts.

Bobby Dalbec 1B | CHW
Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Collects first hit
Dalbec started at third base and went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Friday's 8-1 win over Pittsburgh.
Dalbec started in place of Rafael Devers (knee), who missed a second consecutive game, and collected his first hit of the season. Dalbec had gone 19 at-bats with a hit before his second-inning double. The Red Sox are taking it day by day with Devers, and manager Alex Cora told Peter Abraham of The Boston Globe that "as of now" Devers is not a candidate for the injured list. Dalbec and Pablo Reyes have started at third with Devers sidelined.

Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Yankees' Jon Berti: Resumes activity
Berti (groin) has resumed hitting in the cage and is also taking part in defensive work and a running progression, Meredith Marakovits of YES Network reports.
A left groin strain has kept Berti on the injured list since last Saturday, though it appears the 34-year-old has made some progress in his recovery. The goal is for him to begin a rehab assignment sometime next week, though it's unclear how many games he will play in the minors before rejoining the active roster.

Taylor Walls 3B | TB
Rays' Taylor Walls: Moves to 60-day IL
The Rays transferred Walls (hip) to the 60-day injured list Saturday, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports.
Manager Kevin Cash said last weekend that Walls has not been recovering as quickly as the Rays had hoped for, and the infielder's move to the 60-day IL is further indication that he is not nearing a return soon. Walls is now eligible to return from the IL beginning May 26, though it remains unclear whether he'll be ready to go by then or not. Erasmo Ramirez was selected from Triple-A Durham to fill the open spot on Tampa Bay's 40-man roster.

Gio Urshela 3B | MIN
Tigers' Gio Urshela: Exits with hamstring injury
Urshela was removed from Friday's game against the Twins due to right hamstring tightness.
Urshela appeared to be limping toward the dugout after grounding out in the second inning, and he was replaced at third base by Matt Vierling once the Tigers took the field. The severity of Urshela's injury remains unknown, but Zach McKinstry would likely benefit from additional playing time should the 32-year-old have to miss a few games.
